TEXAS!
HOUSTON - JULY 22nd
SAN ANTONIO - JULY 29th
I am thrilled to announce that this July, I will be taking the stage in Texas for the very first time to do some stand-up comedy alongside two incredibly hilarious stand-up comedians and veterans, Raul Sanchez Comedy and Al Gonzales !
I said this was something veterans benefit first and i'm holding my word to that. I'm currently in talks with the MWR in Fort Hood and Dallas, but as of right now nothing has been signed.
I hope you all come out for a good night of comedy and SEE YOU THIS JULY!
TICKETS AVAILABLE TODAY! www.friendlyfi...
We had an E-4 go AWOL on RR from Iraq, gone a month instead of 15 days. Got promoted to E-5 when they finally got back....
It’s painful how true this is 😢
@silky smooth haha, I was the shit bag that kept getting promoted! (Then demoted; then promoted again…)
It's who they like
Officers get promoted the same way to General
ONE reason I'm a life time member of the "Mafia". If I hadn't gotten out how I did, I wouldn't have been promoted anytime...I refused to be part of that Buddy Mentality or get my nose brown. I just tried to stay squared away and do my job...the Right without cutting corners. So many I saw who disappeared the whole day and never got reprimanded when Squad leaders had no idea where they were all day.
Had an e-5 and 4s lose rank for caught drinking in Bosnia on camp...lost rank but didn't take nearly no time for them back once back in the states
I've seen this. Not in my Regular Army unit, but when I was in the Guard, holy shit, you would have thought they mistook the disiplinary case pile with the "must promote" files.
facts, knew a cook who told a sergeant to F off in front of the whole squad, she got no punishment and became a sergeant like 4 months later. also, this was not a one time thing for her.
@@slimyjimmy1589 the worst part for me is, I handled all the paperwork for my Captain because I came out of the RA with a TS clearance, and could type. I had a spotless record, but was never even considered for promotion because that would have meant my Capt would have had to find a new paper pusher, and he didn't want that to happen.
lol !!! This reminded me of a strange, but true story.
Multiple promotions to one person on the same day can happen.
Usually due to long standing errors with a soldier that takes time to clear up.
One soldier even reenlisted to ensure his record was corrected before their ETS.
They got promoted 3 times in one ceremony, with PCS orders to a very nice post, and several years worth of back pay.
Justice may be slow, but it is very sweet when it arrives.
Never give up.
😈😎😇
What fucking errors can create such a backup? I didn't even know a promotion could be delayed unless there is a non-rec attached.
@@genepark9440
Wrongly accused.
Non-rec - delayed promotions he would have otherwise received.
Reenlisted anyways.
Slow/low priority to investigate.
Finally found innocent.
So, "over the passage of time", the false accusation and its eventual clearing up, led to several back dated promotions, with compensation and PCS orders.
It is exactly like this in the civilian world too. Good people get passed over, and worse punished, while shitbags get elevated into positions of power.
One of many reasons I retired from the Navy in 2019. I had to work for assholes who treated the hard chargers like shit and would do nothing to lazy troublemakers. The only time the troublemakers had anything done to them was if they popped positive for drugs. If they got an ARI, it was just a slap on the wrist and maybe 21 days restriction with a suspended bust.
Man I hated being stationed on PCs and assigned to PCRON when I was in Little Creek. Freaking gaggle of unprofessional jerks...
Got out of the Army in 2003 even after I re-enlisted...got to Germany and the unit was worse than the one I lost...mixed with personal shit I had going back home. But I just got tired of twats throwing their weight and /or rank around cause they could. Nke civilian world, been with this company 16 years and it's the same....just buddy buddy mentality and how cool you are with the boss. And I'm not about that life...going thru severe burn out now
So true.
Do what’s expected and then some. They promote the guy that kisses their behind and does their dirty work.
It’s insane.
Not getting promoted is a double kick in the nuts. The first kick when you don't get it; the second kick when you see who did.
I felt that this spiritual got a 600 pt score shot expert went to solider of the month and solider of the year and still haven’t been to a promotion board crazy
This is way too accurate... and another reason I got out.
It is funny and also true as heck. Regardless of components and branches, promote who you like and leave the good one out. The promotion points system need to be abolish as more points do not mean they can be effective in leadership position. 😅
This is pretty accurate if we are being honest 😅
That Army logic is crazy
Hey! Go sweep that dirt... onto more dirt.
I laughed, but I don't know if I should be laughing or crying.
Too much damn truth in this! LOL!!
The fastest way to make the next rank is to get busted down.
Seen this...just left out kicking good NCOs out for to much time in grade when points never dropped.
2:29 Yeah, nose is itching from the powder.
I’ve been screwed by the Army many times. But my big highlighter was having my leave canceled 3 hours before my flight was supposed to leave for holiday block then told I had to come in that weekend, was a Friday, for work to help another company with rear D. Everyone was out on block leave and this was right in the middle of my ETS process and couldn’t do that as I had to learn how the new company did things that wasn’t even my MOS. Suffice to say I was pissed. Got half the leave I was originally promised too and was down a couple thousand bucks. Couldn’t get a refund
And it made that DD214 that much sweeter!
@@bhess1212 Amen to that
Thats really unfortunate. For future reference, and for other ones to read. Generallly you can get a refund if you call in and let them know that your military and was given short notice that you can't fly. Now not all airlines will give you a refund without extra work though. You might need to submit papers of some kind, either orders, or a commanding memo. If the agent you talk to doesn't care, then you might have to get a supevisor to send in a letter on your behalf.
I know my room mate got his refund for a similar case, because our commander wrote a short letter stating something along the lines of "Due to unscheduled military duties, the soldier can not take the flight and therefore requires a refund or credit of flight". Now my room mate was a liked by our commander, and the flight was a pretty cheap flight to, only a couple hundred. They said no at first, but the agent did tell us that if we had a supervisor send in a letter or memo to prove validity, they could refund.
@@yummychips_ Sadly I tried this. Airliner didn’t take me at my word and the company I got attached to said to talk to my original company and then my company said they didn’t care and said to just focus on my job, cutting a few corners but that’s the gist of it. My leadership really sucked back then
@@fearthewolf1175 and the military wonders why retention sucks...
Loedragg and Heispeed, so great lol
Did that dude say BNCOC 😂? Now we're dating ourselves aint we? Lol
I was the shit solider, and they always wanted to promote. I had an article 15 every year I was in the army. It got to the point where they just let me do whatever I wanted. I remember just walking out of formation while the 1SG was talking because he was wasting my time with his long-winded speeches. For some reason my insubordination made they higher up like me. It was to the point they put me on the best details. And I got AAM which I just threw in the dumpster. I've seen squared away solider just get shitted on when it came to promotion.
I'm glad, they respected you standing up for yourself. Most of the time everyone just mindlessly follows orders like a pet
@@derrickrobinson7269 I wouldn't say they respected me more like they feared me. Because I always turned their punishment against them. Like if you put me on extra duty, I wouldn't let the SGT. leave early ever. I had a task to strip the company floor and then wax and buff it. So, I just stripped the floors and never waxed them.
Reminds of “The Bobs” meeting in Office Space.
Yeah... this is relatable.
And this is why I retired as an E-6 after 21 years
I think its time to get SSG Loedragg out of the Army. When is the next QMP board. We need give him a Field Grade ART 15 bust him down to E5 so he RCP so he can't keep making BS toxic leadership decisions LOL. 🤣🤣 No wonder Retention is low.
Then RCP, collect severance pay and join the reserves. Makes 6 again and goes back to active duty lol.
The way I screamed when I guessed the E1 should get a article 15. This is the type of buddy fucking that is about to make me re-join the service.
BNCOC!? SSG showing his age 😂
Funny, you had me on Article 15!
82nd AIRBORNE 100%
Ha...AATW!
I only have 100 days left in the U.S. Army IRR.
You know, I'd always heard they use the Darts Method. Print a list of candidates, tape it to the wall, and throw darts. Whatever names get hit, those candidates get promoted. Or is that the PCS list I'm thinking of? 🤔
Glad I got out
This be the reason why people get out
Way to hit home guys.
Dont worry you non-civies, us civis dealing with the same exact shit.
This explains how I became an NCO.
Wish I had that command at riley
Hahaha legit af
True story from my time in the 80s Army.
From day one I was going to do my 4 and out. I worked hard, did what was asked, and was squared away, but had an entire other life off base in Germany. It was a strange, but wonderful dual existence.
They were shocked, floored, when I turned down going to BNOC and told them that I had no desire for promotion. I informed them that I WAS getting out in like 16-months, and didn’t want to take a stripe and BNOC slot from a lifer.
They put the screws to me, even making me do the promotion board. I prepared, somewhat, and did it. Just enough to not embarrass myself or disrespect the board.
They promoted me anyways. WTF! They gave me the stripe over better soldiers that wanted it-the married ones needing it-and dedicated lifers.
Sergeant smack alot, fabulous decision I do concur
Wow article 15, take his time it wil help mold him hahhaa wow thats police work all day
*sigh* yep.
12 min 2 mile? *promoted
That’s definitely cap😭
How are you going to take rank from an E1? You take his fuzz patch.
"he used an open hand fist though"
The Army on his blouse is funny
I always said I never made 7 cuse I didnt have an Art 15 lol
What about the guy who can run, but is completely incompetent at their job?
Oh..the competent guy! Lol
😂
How the fuck did they get a camera in my old unit?
E-4(P) loses TWS at some point on battalion air assault mission. (Not tied down to 240, had it slung decided to carry his M4 instead. Delays the entire mission, white light across Iraq, yes white light, still couldn’t find it. Gets promoted anyway. Not even an article 15.
How true, and in police work to
Can't say "Squared Away" anymore. It's problematic and stems from years of systemic racism. Nerd phobia will not be tolerated.
I made E-5 by watching AFN in the DIFAC, I just didn't shake my baby while I drink and drive
Glad to see the US army has not deviated from their directive, "Fuck up. Move up." Most good soldiers only do one enlistment.
reign it in!!! reign it all back in... I swear you were going to say for the kid that got the coin... I bet he has a discord server somewhere!!!!! LOL
We had a E-5, all he could do is run. And that's it. No leadership skills. He had his medals fall off during the promotion board and still got promoted.
.................. "He did all his correspondence courses"................................"He's ready to be a leader"
This ain't it chief
P A I N lolololololololol
This pisses me off. I’m a good soldier but had an article 15 for forgery, while shitty one’s done worse things than me got a tap on a wrist.
OMG where did you guys get the Blue Falcon patches?? LOL
Y’all better not let the Navy’s drag queen recruitment tool go by the wayside.
Looks like you've got the same microwave as I do. Looks like its broken just like mine is.

I WAS THE longest E3 in my unit in Germany.
Reason... I failed by telling E-6 I did not care about rank.
Lord have mercy...
Fast forward, ARMY STRONG... CPT... then resigned commish to be a graphic artist.. at 41! I had a superb career, mostly reserves.. Loved it!!!!!!!!
