Hi, You mentioned not having the lateral guidance CDI for the first stage of the approach... One thing I've noticed in the Bell is that it never (for me) seems to correctly enable the CDI initially - but if I hit the CDI button twice on the GNS, flipping to VOR then back to GPS, then the CDI then seems to be working "correctly" Not sure if that's intentional / a bug? It certainly makes following A GPS route much more straightforward than trying to squint at the tiny screen on the GNS as I'm flying...
He has joystick, he mentioned in another video. Also, you can set linearity of controls in settings. Watch his video "MSFS - learning to fly a helicopter tips"
