Spring Quilt Festival, Wetherby

This year was the first time this show was held at Wetherby Racecourse, it was previously at The Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. The venue change was due to price rises at Harrogate, meaning an increase in ticket prices and the cost of exhibiting would rise too, putting some traders off.
There were a few teething troubles, and due to the position of my stand, I took the brunt of customers grumbles during the first couple of hours - it was quite soul destroying. Things did improve as the customers gradually sorted out where the toilets and the cafe where, and thankfully the mood started to lighten.
