They whipped up some not-so-spooky “snack-o-lantern” treats for male Tian Tian and female Mei Xiang made of shredded carrots, applesauce and diluted apple juice pressed into a pumpkin using a Jack-O-Lantern-shaped mold."
OMG, he's almost there! He'll probably have the timing down by next weekend! I love her reaction when she starts happily eating in the den, hear cubbie squeal, then has this, "Oops, I forgot something look on her face! She's so adorable.
I cannot tell you all what a treat it has been to watch this precious cub every day! I’ve gone from daily viewing on my phone by myself to the smart tv with the entire family! It’s a real treat, thanks so much Doxie!

It looked like when she first walked in she was looking for Cubbie, but then she started eating and heard him and remembered, "oh yeah", and then went to get him. LOL
My favorite video yet! I missed Tian Tian so that was truly special to see. He is quite an agile male - he has the moves. Adore Mei and cubbie bonding. I cheered cubbie on today - he really is trying to figure out how to walk. Those little pads of his feet melt my heart. ❤️🐼

Oh, he is getting those feet under him. He is going to be walking soon. That's so awesome that they gave them a Halloween Treat - it seems to be good, yet there is one part that is likes more than the rest of it. lol
So clear how development proceeds from head to tail. Front legs can really pull him along, while rear ones are still more or less dragging. But he's beginning to push a bit with them. Fun to watch!

At 20:00 it looks like Tian Tian is stuck in the tree. Nope, 2-3 seconds later he does a flip and climbs down as gracefully as a squirrel. It’s amazing how nimble they are in trees.
This is such a treat for me! I haven't tuned in for a couple of weeks, and it's delightful to see how much this darling cub has grown. I watched the entire birth process and was hooked for several weeks. And, now it's amazing to see the process of how Mama and baby are relating to each other. Thanks for bringing this to us.

Barbara, daddy pandas are not involved in rearing their cubs. But Tian Tian might "meet" his cub one day at the "howdy mesh window' between the two yards. You could see it in this video over Mei Xiang's shoulder while she was eating her treats.
His older brother, Bei Bei made rather regular visits to the mesh howdy window between the yards of Mei and Tiang, often with Tiang at the window appearing to interact...

And anyone who watches Mei Xiang for 24/7 (I record/watch every day/night) will tell you that she is fine, she is doing everything a healthy panda mom with a young cub should be doing. I've watched a lot of hours of different mothers with their cubs, and I don't see anything to be concerned about!

It would be irresponsible to “move” the little one without his Mom; the same to ‘move’ both! I’ve been waiting for the other part of the world to come up with some other reason but the truth on why they would want all GP’s back in their ‘home’ . I am very sad about such ‘diplomacy’.

Someone on social media shared the pictures of meixiang staying in her “narrow” nursery room and said she seemed not well fed. And I came here to check out her condition. She looks just fine to me. And she has spacious space to roam about. So I have posted a comment pointing out this already. You know people tends to buy whatever they were feed without proper investigations.
Mei is such a good mom. She is taking him out to play and so protective. Cubbies just needs to strengthen those arms a little more and he will be off to the races.
I dont think Mei Xiang liked the carrot part of her iced treat but sure loved the apple part i love it when puts baby in the playpen (Thank you DoxieMom)

Mei is such a good mom. She is taking him out to play and so protective. Cubbies just needs to strengthen those arms a little more and he will be off to the races.
I dont think Mei Xiang liked the carrot part of her iced treat but sure loved the apple part i love it when puts baby in the playpen (Thank you DoxieMom)
