It's a bit trickier than it looks unfortunately, but still probably faster to attempt it about 100 times than to go all the way up top and drop down probabably.
@@Eskinor The key to that skip is looking upwards towards the grim while spamming E to pick it up since you only get the prompt to pick up for a fraction of a second
@@savingalice1600 yea it’s possible, if you stand below the grim parallel to the door and run along it aiming towards the grim at a angle you can pick it up if you spam E
@@jtcLIVE Yeah, I know, I probably should have specified that, also I find that you need to jump off the bed at the very last second, or it helps anyway so you get more distance and get closer to the grim. Good luck trying to do that jump AND getting a bot to pick it up though, which I've done all of like 2 times lol.
I actually did not know about that first skip in Empire in Flames. Lets you skip that entire basement section, very nice. Though, there is a boss trigger sometimes down there... I wonder what happens when you bypass it.
That last one jumping the fence, what are you actually skipping with that one? The entire ending event, or the few seconds it takes to walk to the gate? I feel like I'm missing something with that one.
You're just skipping that tiny walk you need to do to get past the gate. Its not a skip to be used for saving time but a skip to be used if you're either trapped by a horde and need a creative way out or need to get to the other side quickly for whatever reason and the main way is blocked by a large amount of enemies.
The 2nd skip to get the grim is either impossible or very difficult to do with Bardin edit: It is possible but it's harder. You have to aim above the grim and spam your pick up key to get it.
I remember watching j_sat and there was a skip on Against the Grain after passing the first stone wall gap which reaches an area with that building near the first tomb, you used to be able to do a weird crouch jump skip over the fence ort something, is that possible still or did they fix that? I've tried so many times and it just doesn't work
0:20 It's also possible to jump from the mattress directly onto the right leg from where you can jump to the grim straight away. 1:13 I don't like this one being publicized. It's the kind of shortcut FS may very well patch out like they did with the one nearby, where you could jump from the house onto the beams to skip the same segment. It's also way less broadly known that the Brachsenbrücke skip you've also shown.

It will still trigger, but the location you end up in makes for a much better place to fight it.
