First thank you God for blessing me to gets knowledge of missionary,🎉 that had advised me to do for God said poster you are choosing one of for Amén name of Jesus Christ 🎉church 🎉
My oldest daughter was so pleased with PMG when it first was published that she insisted I should read it! It was so transparent and straightforward and inspiring. I’m happy for the update and am sure it will help more people to understand the Gospel!
This is so exciting! What an amazing time we live in to have a living prophet! The gospel of Jesus Christ is continually being restored and the gathering of Israel is accelerating its pace - all in preparation for the Second Coming of our Savior and His millennial reign upon the earth, further bringing peace and salvation to God's children!
I remember when the first edition came out. I was on my mission and had the pleasure meeting some amazing apostles Elders Packer and Ballard. I love it. I’m happy for this edition.
Can one imagine our Beloved Church Leaders, Brethren and Sisters, giving their lives to the serving 🦋🦋of their fellow beings everyday of the week and everyday of the year and many all of their adult years????!!! Dressing sharp and clean knowing they are representing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ? Appreciate them, pray for their protection and follow their sure and safe guidance. Bonnie, your face is so pure and sweet.
I had no idea that the amount of missionaries has been growing so much! that's crazy, we are heading back to the numbers we saw in the big surge when they lowered the missionary age.
This is so awesome! 🙌🏼💯💯 Love seeing the smiling faces of our Missionaries! ❤ And, our phenomenal Prophet, President Nelson! 🤍 GREAT video, ty!!!😊💙💫🙏🏼👏🏻
My mission, the California Carlsbad Mission (which no longer exists) was one of the 14 test missions for Preach My Gospel in 2003-4. I saw a prototype edition, which had many different pictures than the original Preach My Gospel was released with.
I loved that it explains more of Jesus Christ and it teaches that commandments/laws make us truly disciples instead of only consider them as a checklist.
Hi there, thank you for tuning in and for your question. You can find the new edition for Preach My Gospel in the Gospel Library app under Sharing the Gospel, or online at site.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/manual/preach-my-gospel-2023?lang=eng.
Where is the "thus saith the Lord" revelation authorizing yet another version of the missionary guide? The gospel is simple to understand, and shouldn't require new teaching tools every few years.
1 second ago From what I have read of the new guide, it focuses especially on additional digital resources that can help strengthen missionary work, including Gospel Library and Safeguards for Using Technology. It also incorporates additional information, such as the four accounts of the First Vision, based on Gospel Topics resources that have come out in the last few years. Finally, I noticed that a lot of the content chapters have been structured differently to (I would guess) give more flexibility to missionaries in how they present specific principles to the needs of those they teach. The gospel is simple and eternal, but as the world is changing more and more rapidly, how we teach the gospel needs to be adapted to the needs of those who live here and their current struggles, which in many ways are quite different from those even a generation ago (even if the fundamentals are the same). We have living prophets, in part, specifically to give guidance on how to navigate present day challenges. Just as Noah’s guidance to build an ark was quite different from Moses’s guidance in instituting the Law of Moses, prophets today, and in turn missionaries, teach truths adapted to the circumstances of God’s children.
That’s amazing! I was just thinking how nice it would have been for me to hear about all the Gospel Topic Essays presented in the Gospel Library app when I was taught by missionaries in Wyoming 20 years ago. That way I could have done some research for myself about all the church’s history and made a better informed decision about how I would dedicate my time, talents and all that the Lord has blessed me with for those 20 years. I hope for the best for those missionaries and anyone they reach out and help along their path in all righteousness!
Along with missionary work done in France itself, people in many African countries speak French, and the work in Africa is growing tremendously. There is also a strong French speaking population in Canada, Haiti, and a couple other countries and territories. I would guess that’s at least part of the reason.
Thank you for sharing your insight and perspective. You are welcome to join the church. You are loved and tremendously needed, and we must show greater love and charity towards all, regardless of differences. Sister McConkie, former counselor of the Young Women's general presidency, has taught: "I know people who come to church every Sunday so that they can be inspired and uplifted and who just simply walk away feeling judged and unloved, unneeded. ...We need to do this differently. ... It's so important that we be aware that everyone around us is loved of God and that we need to see them Christlike eyes, and we cannot allow judgment to dictate the way we interact with people." We invite you to view the full video from Sister McConkie here: ua-cam.com/video/hZCpRddEXZM/v-deo.html and hope as you continue participating in Sunday worship all will find peace and belonging through Christ.
God bless you all of you God standing for your mission 🎉😊

How cool! I was wondering if an update would be released with how much missionary work has changed.
Hoorah, hoorah, hoorah for Israel!

It took a long time to have the second edition. Let's see how meaningful are those changes.
I loved that it explains more of Jesus Christ and it teaches that commandments/laws make us truly disciples instead of only consider them as a checklist.
❤
Not a lot of specifics but sounds great
Where do you find this online? I didn't catch it.

That's a good question for you to ask God about in prayer. He knows why and He'll tell you.

Mmmmmm....have that conversation with the Lord and get back to me and tell me how it went.

There is nothing in scripture that says "Thus saith the Lord" is a mandatory thing to say in order for it to be from the Lord.
I wonder why the number of missionaries are increasing... 🤔
I wonder why "French" was prioritized!? English, Spanish, and Portuguese, okay! Hmm!? French!
Along with missionary work done in France itself, people in many African countries speak French, and the work in Africa is growing tremendously. There is also a strong French speaking population in Canada, Haiti, and a couple other countries and territories. I would guess that’s at least part of the reason.
French is spoken in a lot of countries outside of France, including Haiti and several African nations.
Shame LGTB people like me are not able to join the church. Community of Christ (RLDS) is doing better but they don’t have the blessings of the Temple.
