Important message to see everything around including ourselves as the Lord.
This resonates with Bhagavata in Hinduism :
    1. Every shape and form is Vishnu.
    2. Every situations that we face is Vasudeva.
    3. The source of both Vishnu and Vasudeva is Narayana. All the 3 are essentially one Lord/ Brahman.
    Thank you for wonderful explaination.

If "I am" is trying to find God, then "I am" wil never find God"
As long as "you" exist, God cannot exists. As long as "you" exist, God will never be a reality.
If "I am" will disappear, then what is left is God.
Your interpretation is really great ❤️🙏

In my native language (Flemish), the word for “I” is “ik”, pronounced exactly like the “ik” (or “ek”?) in “ik(ek?) oankar”. It’s a great reminder for me. I’m exploring the path of Sikhi, though not calling myself a Sikh just yet.. 😅

It is important firstly to recite the gurbani with love and reverence. Reading listening and knowing you are in communication with the creator. You are not God, you are part of God's universe. You cannot say you are God and act like you are God. Once you listen to the divine instructions in Sri Guru Granth Sahib AND when you now before Sri Guru Granth Sahib, you ARE bowing before Guru Ji and you do receive blessings. The Hukum or Order is to obey the instructions in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Do this if you want guidance, and everything itself slowly takes care of itself, especially when you take Amrit and follow the maryada..that is the rules of being a Gurmukh

If good and bad is same then by your analogy you say that If i do bad things, then God had put the thought in that person to want to do bad things from me.

I have a question for the Sikh community (I am a christian, who loves learning about other religions). The question is that I have for sikhs is, do we christians and sikhs believe in the same God, but just have our own different perceptions of God? Becuase I know us christians, muslims and Jews all believe in the same God, but i was wondering if sikhs do to. I hope someone can answer this question, and stay safe my Sikh brothers.

    • @kanayadeliz2584

Yes, that is accurate. As a Sikh who was raised Catholic, I can explain the differences in how God is perceived in each religion. In Christianity, God is seen as being like a person; He talks to people, His feelings get hurt when humans worship other gods, He commits genocides, etc. In Sikhi, God is seen as more like a framework of consciousness that pervades everything.

After watching this video many times over the years I believe what this message is trying too say is that everything that occurs every second of every day is god's will our own ego should not judge but accept 100 percent of the time. Live life too the best of your own ability and trust in the way or hukum .trust in the current of the mighty river who knows where it's flowing to .And on and on it goes.

I think that happens because the gurbani is not being read with love and vichaar. The Amrit shakna ceremony is blissful. It is the person itself. Did he or she do it willingly

The devotions of man to understand god are not a youthful concept. They are MANS. Discovering god on ones own path is the Divine.
Youth turn to this ideology of atheism because god has been forced into their life. Not were they ‘seeking’, but told, sometimes commanded.
Children are in the present. Man is who’s strayed from the path, whos frontal cortex has complicated self. Who needs to seek, to again find the path.

By creating a religion you are separating your self from that very oneness you are talking about.
This is why children don't believe what you preach them... Children still embody pure God Wisdom.

If you really want to understand what the brother is saying about what is God what is this oneness. Find the video on UA-cam that in layman's terms explains the new ideas called emergence theory, when the brother says that thing that is God already knows what you were going to think and it knew so long ago as to be an eternity ago ,an eternity ago it knew , why because you are it , more specifically you are a projection of it and it even has a scientific name.
