My beautiful parents as religious as they are. steeped in Sikhism didn’t get the connection between the spirit their minds their bodies. Praying everyday but no faith , full of fear and judgement. I fell upon this channel and now I am able to help my parents to truly I understand Sikhism as is should be. THANK-YOU

I am a "Hindu" but I must say this is one of my favourite channels for spirituality and learning about dharmic knowledge. In terms of learning, I am a Sikh, I have the utmost respect for Sikhi. Waheguru ji ka khalsa

I am a hindu and a sikh too❤ guru nanak's teaching is exactly what vedanta teaches ,what advaita teaches. *You Are God,Oneness as an integral part of God* 😊😊 Wahe guru
@@redblueyellowprimarycolors1801who said humans are equal to God,? the mistake he makes tho is saying you are god. that is sufi and brahmin theology. May that mouth burn which says that God incarnates! AGGS, M 5, p. 1136. Sikhidan is not about believing any human is god. Satguru is god. RSS started in 1920 and 100 years later we have a blemished religion.
Did you watch the video? The title is perhaps a little bit misleading. He is not saying that any human is God. He is saying that everything is God, God is everything. It is straight from Gurbani.
@@yourgassed6244 He meant God is within you. (That doesn't mean you can say Prabhu ji/God to anyone) Even Guru Nanak was a human being but God was within him. He was Guru not God. That's how they (Guru) were 10. Guru is always next to God or may be equal to mother. God sends His messages or blessings through pure, kind and humble human beings. Sorry if my point of view hurts anyone. Discussion for understanding only. Truth may have different opinion in a respectable way for each other. You may see it 6 but I see it as 9 :-)
Your Gassed SGGS clearly says that our Atma is the same in essence and identical as Paramatma. Eh maan sio eh maan sakti (if the mind thinks of power it becomes power, if the mind thinks of God, it becomes God).
As a Punjabi born American Sikh I’m thankful that you’re doing this in English, because a lot of us would love to learn more and we can’t because of the language barrier all elders need to understand this and we need more especially in the United States Yuba city needed in 20 years ago
Even though I'm not a sikh, listening to Bhai ji is helping me a lot in my spiritual journey. Thank you for explaining Guru Nanak Dev ji's message so well. It's not limited to a particular religion. 🌸🙏🌸
Shaily …There are more so many non-sikhs who come to Gurdwara frequently and listen to the Sermons of Guru Nanak …And learn the way of life plus more…… Thanks for your love for Sikhi . To be a Sikh it’s not necessary to drink Amrit and keep Hair , Kirpan ets . Jagtar Singh AUJLA. USA
Shaily I’m a Buddhist, and we share many of the same principles as Sikhs so I know exactly what you mean. I also can take a lot from this and use it as a spiritual teaching, and use what I can from it. I have a lot of respect for the Sikhs 🙏🏽

@@biographychannel5094 Sanatan dharma is not all about Idol worship, casteism, and sacrifice. The teachings of Guru Nanak, the teachings of Lord Buddha, the teachings of Lord Shri Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita, are all same, i.e., the concept of 'Ik'.
It switches from God out there to God inside when you are given the grace of depression. It is subtle at first. You start throwing away everything. You long for God inside yet everything feels like a false image. You have a moment where you give up the world. Spontaneously you are given the grace to feel the presence of God. It feels like the love from a mother that loves you deeper than any person you have ever met. You may feel more real than you have your whole life. Tears of joy over take you and you feel like you are in a dream. After a dark night of the soul, after all the struggling. Then after that, God will never let you go, you cant get away. I should add that you start seeing religion in a deep deep way. A way that most people can't grasp.
This is great and very inspirational. I'm a Catholic myself but they never teach you knowledge like this but preach about duality and a separate God and you have no power. I don't understand Sikhism but this makes nothing but sense to me and wished I'd come across decades ago. It clears and clarify what oneness and universal energy really is. It's not just abstract God in the sky stuff and makes you feel like you belong and part of all at is Thank you for your insights in practical terms Eddie
You never learned catholic teaching please don't blame. It's contradictory teaching. You are the temple of the Holy spirit and spirit of God dwells in you. Whatelse you need. Learn the Christian faith first to the full then raise questions.
Thank you to this great speaker and for sharing this very profound universal message… I am not a Sikh but I appreciate all of this wisdom. This speaker needs to be on all platforms he is very articulate and simplifies the message very well.
Ultimately the final Gurus used swords to kill their enemies... because philosophy is only useful in "peace-time", not while you are being invaded and killed....
Aman A You have to understand that philosophy is not identical with spirituality. God created us with a free will. We can choose to be good or bad. Our essence is divine, but some people live a life, that is far away from their essence. They even kill people and invade other countries. Spirituality doesn’t mean to allow people to kill your family, friends and neighbors. Have spiritual people not the right to defend themselves? The Sikhs defended their people and at the same time they knew, that their enemies had the same divine essence inside themselves.
We're all dust brother, there are things that humanity will discover in the next couple thousand years that will completely change what we know. The craziest thing is that even at the speed of light, we need to solve a bigger problem that's to get outside of the universe. Even then we are probably .000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001+ of the closeness to the edge of everything. Even more crazy if I told you that God is in your head. This is just what I believe and I'm sure this will be proven very soon.
Thank you Bhai sahibji for doing Sikhism perchar in English for our children who are born and grown up in Australia understands you very well and encouraged again to follow sikhi. They totally got confused with Punjabi parcharaks coming from India as they are not one and talking about each other and taking our kids away from gursikhi. I am a proud mother of three kids who are listening to you and got convinced that this Bhai sahib ji is a great teacher of Sikhism and expains so well. Even I myself was bit confused with our confused percharaks who forgot about oneness and questioning each other and showing off that they are better than others and in that fight and arguements the consequences are our kids don't want to go to gurudwara sahib because these percharaks coming from India and actually taking away our kids from Sikhism by their actions. Thank you so much for doing this perchar in English and saving our coming generations. We need many more percharaks like you to save coming generations in western world. Thank you again and keep doing this amazing job that Guru sahib blessed you.
This maybe a 2 year old discourse, but the wisdom of who am I as finally hit home for me. I was afraid to think I could have a powerful being within me. I am Hindu from South Africa. I am glad someone shared part of this video on a WhatsApp group chat, and I searched on UA-cam to find the whole explanation of WHO AM I. 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you Sir.
This lecture really blessed my life. We are all one! I see God in all. I give up myself, I give up my ego. There is nothing left but God!! Praise him! 🙏🏾
I am fortunate to come across this vid... I always get reminded of the famous encounter of Guru Hargobind Ji with Samarth Ramdas... Once a Maratha saint, Samarth Ramdas during his rambles in Northern India, happened to meet Guru Hargobind at Srinagar in about 1634. Fully armed and riding a horse, the Guru had just returned from an excursion. "I had heard that you occupied the Gaddi of Guru Nanak", said Swami Ramdas. "Guru Nanak was a Tyagi sadhu - a saint who had renounced the world. You are wearing arms and keeping an army and horses. You allow yourself to be addressed as Sacha Patshah, the True King. What sort of a sadhu are you?" asked the Maratha saint. Guru Hargobind replied, "Internally a hermit, and externally a prince. Arms mean protection to the poor and destruction of the tyrant. Baba Nanak had not renounced the world but had renounced Maya, i.e. self and ego: "batan faquiri, zahir amiri, shastar garib ki rakhya, jarwan ki bhakhiya, Baba Nanak sansar nahi tyagya, Maya tyagi thi." These words of Guru Hargobind found a ready response in the heart of Samartha Swami Ramdas who, as quoted in Pothi Panjak Sakhian, spontaneously said, "this appealeth to my mind - Yeh hamare man bhavti hai".
Sat Nam! This is one of the best and most important lectures I've heard in a while. Thank you! And thanks for doing it in English. I love how you explain it all in such simple words that everybody can understand. May we, all people, come to experience the Divine within and to let it shine through us!

Ultimately the final Gurus used swords to kill their enemies... because philosophy is only useful in "peace-time", not while you are being invaded and killed....
This is pure Advaita Vedanta. All realised masters of every religion come to this conclusion based on the first hand experience of this reality. I really liked it when bhai ji said that the drop never left the ocean! It's just unaware that it and ocean have the same essence. Like the Advaitins would say, that you don't have to reach God, you're already there! You're suffering because you don't know that you're there! All the unnecessary striving due to the lack of this knowledge is the fundamental cause of suffering. Ik Onkaar! 🙏
I am literally stunned by this !!! This made me who i was really .. .in past few months iwas lost ....lost in sadness....happiness ....anger ....feelings ...but How could i forget this... God is everywhere... This is soo relaxing ...i see everything in a new way ...but the world pulls me towards it again n again....

By repeated mentioning of Oneness, the Sikh Guru practised Gyana marga. They also practiced Bhakti marga and Karma Marga by waging just war. Really amazing personalities who walked the talk mentioned in Gita! My humble Pranams to them 🙏🏽
Advaita Vedanta very nicely explained. Guru Nanak Devji was blessed. In ancient times we had philosophy (Advaita, Dwaita, Charwaka and then Buddhism and Jainism, Shivaism and Vaishnavi). In later times theology emerged as it faced challenge from world religions. Philosophy gave way to karma kand. But remember our seats of learning were destroyed in those times. Universities and gurukuls destroyed, Kingdoms and Temples which supported knowledge were desecrated. By 16th century Baba Nanak emerged and found people doing various religious practices but not realising the truth and as u know the rest is History. Wahe Guruji Ka Khalsa te Wahe guru ki Fatheh.
I bow to this beautiful wisdom and so thankful for hearing it in English. Getting ready to teach a class on Guru Nanak and now Ek I know is where I must begin. Thank you so very much...thank you.
Om nama sivaya, sivaya nama Om. I am within the Divine, the Divine is within me.. Namaskar to my Dharmic brothers.. The words of truth from this teacher are liberating..
I’m so happy to have seen this. I forever held a “pantheistic belief” that universe & God were interchangeable and meant one another but never found people who thought the same within Sikhi. Thank you for this and I hope to see more
it is no pantheistic exactly but panentheistic belief: Panentheism (meaning "all-in-God", from the Ancient Greek πᾶν pân, "all", ἐν en, "in" and Θεός Theós, "God")[1] is the belief that the divine pervades and interpenetrates every part of the universe and also extends beyond time and space.
It has pantheistic aspects for sure but the focus and emphasis is very monotheistic. There is only one god, and that is the most important divine fact. His name is truth and he speaks the language of perfect love
God is a spirit. Only those pure of heart can see God. For at the end, only those who worship in truth and spirit., will be saved from what's coming...
I was thinking the same. Imagine thinking we can save ourselves from Sin, yet we are separated from God because of sin? Then to deny that someone died for our sin to reconcile us through His death and resurrection. It feels shameful to listen to this and to ever think I am God, worshiping the creation 😢
Thank you so much for this veer Ji. You have opened my eyes 👀 wide open. I’m in tears as I’m listening to you. I had the wrong concept of Sikhism in my mind all this time. Thank you for this life changing experience. We need more Gursikhs like you across the globe 🌍 to spread the word. I’m not even close to being called a Sikh let alone being a Gursikh but I will try my best to change myself from this day on. Thank you so much from bottom of my heart. Keep up the good work
What you say you are experiencing is what I see to be the most awesome part of being able to learn. It doesn't stop with the first things you have learned. It's a part of it and you can expect more to come. I see this to be how we are able to recognize the truth and now I can see even more clear what it means that the truth is already inside of us. That's what gives me the desire to share with others. I need to come out of my box. The wall that I have built around myself to protect the most fragile part of who I am. Things that I have been working on require me to let others see me. Imperfections and all. It scares me but I'm willing to try. Or I may never see the changes I want for my life.
Beautifully described. This is what, the all sikh parcharak need to tell sangat. We need such parcharak to spread true message of Sikhi over the world.
I am a follower of OSHO , this is very similar to his teachings , i am against all religions but i never knew sikhism said the same thing as my guru has been saying .... such beautiful to know about this message
i cringe when i see or hear the ism being applied to SIKHI; the Gurus Panth becomes merely another tool of seperation then; let it be known! Aside from that lol Osho wrote a book about the teachings of Guru Nanak called "The True Name" i was really impressed with it; highly recommended. P.s my ism is better than your ism 😋 jk
Akshay i love wisdom . I belongs to sikh background. Even i am following the path of #OSHO .somewhere with my tiny mind i found there is no difference in wisdom of both . TRUTH IS UNIVERSAL and TRUTH IS ONE EITHER IT IS NOT TRUTH .#PEACE

I follow the siddha yoga path. Received shakipat initiation in a vision by bhagawan Nityananda. His follower siddha guru Muktananda ( i met in 1981) gave me the experience of God within me. His successor Swamy Gurumauj Chidvilasananda gave so much grace so that I can say, by my own experience, YES WE ARE ALL A MANIFESTATION OF GOD ! AND YOUR WORDS, ARE A CONFIRMATION 9F THIS REALIRY. THANKS❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great Gyani Ji. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsha Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, I used to think why we cannot spread knowledge of Guru Granth Sahib in other languages that is the only way to share the knowledge with various communities around the world. I used to watch or listen preaches of other religions or way of lives and the message are almost same. So calling all the people on a single mindset is and was the main goal of all the Sants/ Holly people have been in the past. Thank you so much. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsha, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. I am from a different culture, but when I started listening kirtan and katha/speeches of various sants, I wanted to fill my soul with this jewel but there was no one to tell me the real deep meaning of guruji's shabad. Many thanks to bhaiji, who explains each shabad so deeply that each guruji's shabad goes deep inside me 🙏
This is an amazing talk! I can’t explain how much I have benefited and how much I have understood in so short of a time. My life will be changed. I now truly understand my religion and truly understand what I am living for. Thank you so much!
You are doing an amazing job conveying the message of our gurus. You are not only changing the lives of the youngsters but you have changed my life as well through Guru’s message. You have taught me the essence of life, acceptance and peace. I am a born Sikh women who was never taught our religion and the message of our Gurus the right way. I thank you for transforming my life and giving the tools to teach my kids and grandchildren the correct message of our gurus. God bless. 🙏
What a beautiful message. Thank you so much for sharing brother! This is the positivity and love that we are all searching for. Everything we are searching for is written in the words of our Guru.
Most religious people vibrate low on spiritual spectrum! Religion is used as organized community place, as status, way to relate to a community, way to get resources, support and for leaders it’s way to control & benefit from crowd of people! Thank god for Mr. Satpal. He is higher spiritual being who have done internal work and lead with that instead of shallow, selfish, benefit driven gurdwara leaders confusing other greedy & materialistic beings! Truth is in leading spiritual path God is in us. Use gurbani to lead us to be one with god inside us 🙏
We are losing our children from Godliness...i commend you for this video in English...I am fortunate to have come across your video this morning.....I have shared the same with my teen kids and I hope they get answers.
My brother, you don’t know other’s circumstances and just assume all families are like yours. Let us see the beauty in how he has found some solace & the message of Guru Nanak for his children. Let’s all take away the message of Guru Nanak and try to understand with compassion 🙏🏽
Beautiful message everyone can understand Guru’s message because you gave it in English. I always wanted to understand Sikhism because I have good Sikh friends and I always admired them. Thanks you for making videos in English 🙏
"Guru Nanak Dev Ji did not believe in God. Guru Nanak Dev Ji knew God"...nothing is more beautiful and liberating to a society than understanding this difference. The Gurus of our land that is Bharat, their enlightenment, and their guidance to humanity must always be remembered and appropriately. Our Gurus never told us to believe. They only told us to seek the truth and they continue to assist us in our journey towards this seeking. Thank you. For identifying that thread of spirituality that binds the numerous ways of life of Bharat together. A unique nation indeed. There isn't another nation where its people, across its entire land, seek the same truth through different ways of life brought to us by many different Gurus of our land. Unity in Diversity indeed.
No its not its iregular. Only 2 sikh misls wore their turban like this. Most of khalsa army wore their turbans a lot smarter. This is the over sized lets use 3 cloths look.
@@yourgassed6244 the fuck do you mean when you call the other turban styles more smarter? That one is symbolic of slavery. Introduced by the British. What's your source for your claims regarding misls wearing nok wali pagg? Dumala is the original and classic turban unique to the Sikhs only officially given to us by the Guru. Don't dare undermine this sacred crown.
Teesar Panth Guys, calm down. Let's all lower our egos. Meditate on naam instead of having futile arguements on 'pagg styles'. Meditate on naam! Waheguru...waheguru....waheguru...waheguru!
@@JohnSmith-ef4rc I suspect this guy is a fraud or just misguided spreading misguidance. I dont want pure sikh religion corrupted sorry. and had no ego to let evidence do the talking. 10 misls never wore this style turban. this style came from after the 1800s. from infiltration and mockery which prevails in the worlds only real religion.
@@yourgassed6244 The first thing Guru Nanak taught humanity was that we are all same and alike, and none big or small, and no matter how much you bath in holy rivers, your sins cannot be washed away, by reciting Gurus words can redeem your sins, same way Guru Nanak Ji also said it is not how you look or wear what, it is your soul that needs to be true and pure, so yes styles of turbans is immaterial, often I have seen taliban wear similar turbans as sikhs do, this is why a Sikh paid with his life when he was mistaken for a taliban by an American who shot him after the 9/11 attacks on NYC world trade centre. That is why just by wearing clothes if you think you can be a pure Sikh, you can forget it man, a clown wearing a turban does not become a Sikh, purity lies in one's heart and mind, not in one's beard or turban, wearing certain clothes are for just an identity purpose, it is not needed today, as we have national armies, it was needed back then, A sikh is one who following the principles of Sikhism, that is all one needs and one need not wear a turban or support beard, unless you want to be so called Khalasa, which is the a sect or group of people committed to protecting the oppressed people whose rights are denied, Khalsa is a religious force to protect the weaker, hence they must be more prominent in their appearance.
I feel so blessed to listen to these wisdoms in english. I feel called to much that is said here, the more i learn about this way of life the more I realize i have been following it for a long time with out knowing. I want to learn more and more. I am american, i was raised as a christian but came to realize i did not love that idea of god, i feared him and the more i learned of him the less i wanted to be christian. Fast forward 5 years and my searching has brought me to this idea of life: We all are one spirit each soul is just a fraction of god playing a game of hide and seek. To find your self and to find peace of mind and hart because God is with us God IS US ALL. We are the fish and the river. Accepting this gives you peace.
We are so blessed and lucky to have an English speaker of the Guru's message. The message of oneness universal, without beginning or end, with and without forms, part and parcel of eternal non dual consciousness awareness ❤️

No, the Gurmat Gyan has absolutely no answer to any of our doubts. For, I am doubtful of this seemingly imaginary God they worship. and Gurmat Gyan does not answer this doubt in any kind of meaningful way.
bdjlo2008 Bhai Ji, though I’m not aware on what makes u feel so but with due respect one must understand each and every Shabad of Gurbani.. Even great scholars are not the masters and hence request you to feel and understand Gurmat first rather than getting disappointed.. Gurbani never ever preaches any imaginary gods for it says, ੴ Ik Onkar which itself represents the "One Supreme Reality" and is very well explained by Bhai Saab Bhai Satpal SINGH Ji in the video above..
@@ravibharaj You can call it "Ik Onkar" or "One Supreme Reality" or "Do Onkar" or "Two Supreme Realities" or "Waheguru" or "Spider-Man", etc., etc., etc.... But, without good evidence, all of these seem imaginary. All those great so-called scholars that you talk about are bullshitters and charlatans. I have read Shabad Gurbani myself and listen to those individuals. Gurbani/scholars are selling snake oil. They are selling you stories. Beautiful Stories. Stories without evidence. No matter how beautiful a story may be, A Story without evidence seems fictional.

God is consciousness.. Not the creator but the very source of creation itself. It is not some separate, superior or condemning entity that most religious institutions claim. By believing that "God" is something exterior from yourself, you separate yourself from the source and immediately become a limited being. It is a force, a divine energy, a frequency that exists within you and everybody. Waheguru ji
My phrase to describe Satpal singh is 'A breath of fresh air '. He has washed away centuries of mud that covered the diamond sikhi that guru nanak sahib delivered
Happy to know that my thinking had been this way before I discovered Sikhism. Now it's just a confirmation that I was in right path of perceiving the world and *life* . I am not a Sikh by birth am still me it's just now I feel my thinking that I thought no one else knew, was already been written into many books and religious texts. I feel blessed to be spiritual and have the enlightenment not by others influence or by any religion but my inner soul had guided me towards it without any external assistance. Religion and holy text are the guidelines for those who are less fortunate and lack the holy vision. That's why it's so simple it's always designed to help the helpless to find their path to oneness. I'm grateful to be a part of God and have the consciousness to understand and appreciate the marvel of *life* I don't think one need to read 1000 of books to be have that vision One needs to be open to everything and have time for himself to think and understand. The answers we look for are always within its our greed that makes us seek more and end up having nothing. When one let go of everything and have nothing then that person becomes a part of everything. One need to see themselves from the eyes of the 3rd person and detach themselves from everything in order to focus and understand the vision of one
This is a lesson that is very very good. To be honest I have a little trouble with the "language". Not because I might be misunderstanding some things. Even if it's true. It's because of the words. Maybe it's the way I perceive the words. All words are language and I know I don't understand all words. I can't even remember all words. It's like learning to understand what they mean before learning the words. So that way it's quite frustrating sometimes and can be very confusing. And maybe I might have a hard time learning something different from what I already know. Yet I see that it compliments what I already know. One of these things is what he talked about,"I am". I have never thought it to mean "ego". So this is the new thing that I will be saving to wait for more understanding more. I know it's important. I can't reject it just because it's new to my conscious understanding. Isn't that what learning is for? And I am happy to learn that there is another way to see to understand and know God. And this is a good example of what I'm talking about words. It's easier for me to use the words I already have and know. So please be patient with me while I learn new words. I see the importance of being able to understand new, well new to me, language. For me it starts with what I have learned already from the bible. And even that is and was a different language for me and I had to learn to understand it. I recognize that there is more even outside of the bible to learn. Even if anything is different I see some things that I perceive to be the same. Not everything is taught the same way as others are taught. This is how I can recognize that it is important to change the way I think. Because for example if I am not believing in myself how am I to believe in God. I can see to understand that God is not outside of me. And that is another example to why I can say I don't think I have exactly been taught completely right. Yes a little confusing but again I hear some things that support what I can recognize to be true. And for me to learn that I am a drop in the ocean and we are all one together. Does teach me again something that I do understand already. I have understood that "I am" is no different than God saying, "I am God", for us to call ourselves I am good, I am anything, helped me understand oneness. I saw it to be a spiritual thing. Not a ego thing so much. But now I'm come to a place to have to ask what is the purpose of having a body. What does it really mean for all of us. Am I to need to learn something more than I already do? I believe yes there is. But how do I put into words what I am actually asking? Dose this mean that believing that there a spirit is not a right teaching? Am I supposed to stop believing that? And then comes the confusion for me because I have spent a lot of time on believing about spirit and spiritual. Because of experience I have personally had that taught me make us as one. Just in different words. And again because of different words it's hard for me to say things differently and I realize that it's important to know how to say things in different words. So I welcome new words that teach a different language. I see it to be "the more than just what I have learned from the bible", because the more teaches me more understanding, more knowledge and more developing wisdom that grows with every new thing I learn. It seems to me that it is more accurate to say that it's the ego that has taught me wrong. The things that I have come to recognize as lies. The things that have caused me grief and sorrow. And those are the things I need to let go of. These are the things that are going to allow me to move forward and learn and grow more. And in the process I am able to "change my mind" the way I think. I am able to finally get out of the "box" that has acted like a prison to me all of my life. One of the reasons why I am here and also sharing these thoughts is because I have it very strongly inside of me that I want to encourage others and be a part in teaching them as well as I want to learn. It seems to me that this goes together. Another question, just like what was taught here that everything is one but many ways to see it... I now wonder about our individual self? The part of me that thinks and acts and chooses? Is there something more that I am missing? And with that I'm going to end this reply. Thank you for listening.

It's not just abstract God in the sky stuff and makes you feel like you belong and part of all at is

Baba Nanak had not renounced the world but had renounced Maya, i.e. self and ego:
"batan faquiri, zahir amiri,
shastar garib ki rakhya, jarwan ki bhakhiya,
Baba Nanak sansar nahi tyagya, Maya tyagi thi."
These words of Guru Hargobind found a ready response in the heart of Samartha Swami Ramdas who, as quoted in Pothi Panjak Sakhian, spontaneously said, "this appealeth to my mind - Yeh hamare man bhavti hai".
So many people understanding the Oneness in the comments. Bless you Bhai Satpal Singh Ji

This is what humanity is all about, solid truth as it is, religion in tune with truth.

Bhaarat?
Too little!
His turban is so amazing!
That is why just by wearing clothes if you think you can be a pure Sikh, you can forget it man, a clown wearing a turban does not become a Sikh, purity lies in one's heart and mind, not in one's beard or turban, wearing certain clothes are for just an identity purpose, it is not needed today, as we have national armies, it was needed back then,
A sikh is one who following the principles of Sikhism, that is all one needs and one need not wear a turban or support beard, unless you want to be so called Khalasa, which is the a sect or group of people committed to protecting the oppressed people whose rights are denied, Khalsa is a religious force to protect the weaker, hence they must be more prominent in their appearance.
Fast forward 5 years and my searching has brought me to this idea of life:
We all are one spirit each soul is just a fraction of god playing a game of hide and seek. To find your self and to find peace of mind and hart because God is with us God IS US ALL. We are the fish and the river. Accepting this gives you peace.
Love and Light..We do Oneness to be love not great! When you become into this beautiful love you become crazed with love.
We are so blessed and lucky to have an English speaker of the Guru's message.
The message of oneness universal, without beginning or end, with and without forms, part and parcel of eternal non dual consciousness awareness ❤️
Thanks you so much for sharing such a beautiful message, i always attracted to know about Sikhism but never got the way out, iam grateful to you for this marvelous insight you shared.

I don,t know about God,but I do realize that Nanak,s message is for an whole universe& for everyone. It is above the all religions as well as I knew in my all life.
Same as vedas all universal laws are from the same source.Great nice teachings!
The world would be a 5different place once our govt allows vedic studies in schools.
Real thing is every knowledge which ever existed was combined by you guys nd now you are showing your supremecy over everything, if you people wouldn't have hated muslims nd christian you would have called them as part of sanatan dharma😂😂because there lot of teaching matches with atharva veda

Gurmat Gyan has all answers to our doubts!

You have validated my belief. There is no place without Ek.

Very good msg ji bahi ji🌱💝🙏🙏🙏💝🌱
God is consciousness..
Not the creator but the very source of creation itself.
It is not some separate, superior or condemning entity that most religious institutions claim.
By believing that "God" is something exterior from yourself, you separate yourself from the source and immediately become a limited being.
It is a force, a divine energy, a frequency that exists within you and everybody.
Waheguru ji

My phrase to describe Satpal singh is 'A breath of fresh air '. He has washed away centuries of mud that covered the diamond sikhi that guru nanak sahib delivered
Great message absolutely beautiful, if only people would follow these words
I'm grateful to be a part of God and have the consciousness to understand and appreciate the marvel of *life*
I don't think one need to read 1000 of books to be have that vision
One needs to be open to everything and have time for himself to think and understand. The answers we look for are always within its our greed that makes us seek more and end up having nothing.
When one let go of everything and have nothing then that person becomes a part of everything.
One need to see themselves from the eyes of the 3rd person and detach themselves from everything in order to focus and understand the vision of one
.. your thinking is the opposite of "Ek"
Beautiful .... a heart to heart words 🙏🏻
Very profound. I came to the same understanding a short while ago. In the words Ik Onkar satnaam lies the whole truth.
Beautiful discourse !! Not a Sikh by birth but could relate to all that was said.
Beautiful! Your words honor the spirit of Guru Nanak. Thank you.

Exactly the same as Vedanta Hinduism, The truth has to be universal

But bhai Sahib ji we also need to add boundaries to keep our sanity from those God souls who somehow lost their path and went on to do bad things. Acceptance and we need to do everything in our power to stop any bad thing happpening to us or our dear ones.
