Can't be the stat sheet, the highest scoring players of all time are kickers.
Only because QBs don't get the 6 points of their touchdowns for some reason.
Kyle Sarty that’s a hard argument, some touchdowns are definitely a result of the quarterback, but if someone takes it 70 yards off a screen for the TD shouldn’t that player be credited and not the qb?
Ok, so I met Billick when he came to see an extreme custom kitchen I was wiring in Centreville MD. He and his wife were in the process of building a new home and were getting idea's etc...
Anyways, as a Ravens fan I was excited to meet him as he was at the time the head coach of the Ravens. I had to ask him why Kyle Boller? Why was he keeping that bum year after year. He looked at me and said "Kyle will be one of the greats on day, you just have to know it's within him." It was at this moment I knew he was an idiot.
Well said Pat! As a football fan I find Billick's statement offensive.

It's funny Billick says that. Some coaches swear by special teams and invest heavily in kickers and/or punters. After being beaten several years in a row in the playoffs, the Raiders decided to draft Ray Guy in the first round and try and win games by field position. Went on to win 3 Superbowls. Both Phil Simms and Lawrence Taylor have stated that Sean Landeta was a big part of the 1986 NFC championship game victory as the wind gusts during that game were brutal and Landeta was able to punt the ball through the wind and the Giants could win the field position battle. Went on to win 2 Superbowls. 1990 NFC championship game, Matt Bahr kicked 5 field goals to win the game for the Giants. Went on the win the Superbowl. Adam Vinatieri.....well, enough said!!

Well sad Pat, this comment annoyed me but u so professionally showed how stupid the comment is.
I'm not saying that kickers are soft or anything, but they are the only players who(baring few special circumstances) can not be touched while handling the ball. That to me is not really a full player.
mmm You can say that about a lot of positions like receivers with how little you can touch them and get a pass interference and the quarterbacks themselves are very protected almost to the same degree as a punter "roughing the passer" "roughing the kicker
Bob Dirt they are protected yes, especially in today's game, but they are still allowed to be touched at most points in the game. QBs can be sacked, stripped, etc, receivers are jammed up, blocked, and tackled.. unless a kicker is out blocking or running a fake there is no touching them at all.
that is not true the only time you cant hit a kicker is after the kick they can be blocked tackled and stripped just like a QB they are just not in that situation as often but they do not have more protection
