I really enjoy seeing the processes you use to incorporate B roll. I hoped for adding B roll above primary footage and having the B roll fade in (enter transparently) become somewhat opaque, and fade out (exit transparently). I cannot seem to find that anywhere. I have used that technique in FCP, but cannot recall it.
Great video. Can you change the size of the overlay video multiple times through out the video? I want to change the size of the overlay at different points in the video. Even to have it disappear at times.
thanks for this info. i have a clip of a power point and another clip with a speaker in a very small size (the speaker is on the top left side) and i want to see the dimensions of the speakers clip so when i make changes i could always set the same size. Do you know how to check this size ? (height and width)

How do you see the original clip that you put an overlay to in case you wanted to see the original? Without moving things around to see it
Select the clip and press Shift F. It will open it in your browser.
How do i simply view the clip that i put an overlay on top of? Like i just want to select the clip on the main timeline and see that play

You're welcome. You can check it on the Info Inspector but be sure to click your clip first. This button is a circle with a letter "i" in the middle.
