    I ride in St. George, Utah single track with a lot of rocks, hard pack and sand and this front tire is the best I’ve ridden on. It’s an excellent all-around front tire!!

    Hi there, i was wondering, on a 450, do you prefer a 120 or a 110 rear tire ? I've just bought a new 450 crf 2021 and i feel like it's so hard to lean and the bike just wanna go out or to stand up when i'm in a rut with the 120 tire. Did not feel that back when i had a 110 rear tire on my 250 two stroke. Can you help me ? Will it be easier with a 110 rear tire, what are the factory bikes running ? Thanks a lot, love your channel !

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  3 роки тому +2

      Hey, Tom. I don't think the tire it what's causing you to feel like the bike is standing up in ruts. I haven't heard anyone else talk about that either. Yeah, a 110 might make a very slight difference, but I'm guessing it's something else. I haven't seen you ride either so I can't say if it could possibly be your form too. Remember, get that outside elbow up, focus on really squeezing the bike with your outside leg against the shroud along with your inside leg and look as far ahead as possible. - Chase

    Why does every California based moto person seem to think that East Coast conditions are 100% loam all day every day? The eastern seaboard is loaded with rocky, heavy, mucky, sticky sandy silt and fat clays. Most tracks add sawdust and sand. It goes from snotty slippery baby poop to dusty concrete, rarely with nice conditions in between. We really don't have a lot of topsoil, even in wooded areas.
    Budd's Creek is only sandy because it is on the flood delta of the Chesapeake Bay. Anything further west than the first ~50 miles from the coast isn't sandy OR loamy. I think they're imagining the midwest.

    I had 110 90 19 in the MX52 on my 250f. It was warn down so I really didn't have that total. I just got a new 110 90 19 mx53. Is this too big? I took it for a quick ripper and it hooked real hard.

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  4 роки тому +1

      No, it's not too big. You can run a 110 or a 100. Either will work fine. The 110 is slightly heavier so you could argue it takes away some power from the bike but I doubt you could notice it. - Chase

    I ride cross country so the laps are long and terrain changes are constant so form soil soft or hard to sand woud this tyre cover that on wet and cold days as well as the hot ones when things start to bake ?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  5 років тому +1

      It won't give as good of performance in sand as some other soft-intermediate tires, but it the rest of the conditions it will do well. I just rode this weekend on them and when I first went out the track was as wet and deep as you can get and I still have total confidence in the front tire and the rear wasn't bad either. Later in the day when the track was hard packed, it just got better. - Chase

    Chase now you will have to actually put those Dumblops up against the Hoosier IMX25's.. We will be waiting. It's funny how the Hoosier Tires use the same Pattern on all thier tires. The only difference is rubber compound.. In your Hoosier video we already know going by your feedback. The Hoosiers performed better than the Dumblops. When will the comparison happen???

    Would love to see a video specifically for UT/CO aggressive dual sport tires (90% trail and singletrack but still DOT). I'm having a hard time deciding since we have mostly hard pack in CO but it's often covered in a layer of sandy gravel.

      They do not come with yellow lettering. You can use something like the Moose Racing Tire Pen to change the color to yellow or white. Dunlop also makes a yellow tire sticker that you will see on a lot of factory bikes.

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  3 роки тому +2

      In soft and loamy conditions, or when the dirt is nice and tacky, they're both good. Where the 53 shines is lean angle grip, especially when the track is starting to get slick. Myself, Kris Keefer, and Dave Pingree have all said basically the same thing. Any rider I've told to try this tire has come back and said they love it. - Chase
