This old song inspired me and it fits perfectly to Sans' and Frisk's genocide fight imo. :D

Undertale is meant to be a game. Everything about it is meant to be a game.
The way that apart from Flowey, the player has complete control of the game,
That the fourth wall doesn't exist and flowey literally states, "Don't you get it? This is all just a game."
The way you need to reset the timeline in order to defeat a battle.
The way Toby Fox knows as a game player, you will eventually get tired of playing a single route over and over, so he used that knowledge and had Flowey during genocide explain exactly what Toby expected the player to do after playing Pacifist routes. Flowey even hints to the fact that some youtubers record themselves while playing games, and says Some people are just too afraid to do it themselves. "I bet someone like that is watching right now." Those lines were made specifically for the people who just WATCH other youtuber's playthroughs of Undertale, which is never, ever the same experience as playing the game yourself.
The way you need to mess with some of the game files in order to get specific easter eggs...
The way there are so many easter eggs that you can only find out by controling the character, not by watching it on TV...
The way the game crashes by itself can only be done if its files downloaded in a PC.
The fact that the game totally revolves around the personal choices of the player, everything that happens depends on the player of the game...
The way the player of the game is an actual CHARACTER and FORCE in the game, Sans, Flowey and Chara already have a large hint that beyond their universe, there is a player controling everything, and that player is us. Sans, Flowey and Chara know that we exist, and that no matter how hard they try to stop us, we'll just keep coming back and abusing our freedom to kill and spare whomever we please in the game, because as a player, we are the one in ultimate control over their world.
Undertale would be completely ruined and horrible if it were a show. It will always be best experienced as a game, and nothing else will ever, ever top that.

How the hell has no one mentioned that tear that Frisk sheds? That one simple tear adds an absurdly deep extra level to this fight, the whole Genocide route. Frisk knows exactly what they are doing, but they don't want to do it. They don't want Chara to control them, but they are anyway. That one tear is the only way Frisk is still able to communicate, and they are sorry.

I love coming back to this animation, you nailed Undertale's art style perfectly.
The tear from Frisk makes me think they're sorry for what they did and are about to do, but not sorry enough to actually stop.

One thing that surprised me is that it is (or at least used to be) canon that he can stop smiling. I watched one of the old Undertale ads explaining the reward tiers, and Sans actually stops smiling to sip on a drink! So, my personal opinion is that he can stop smiling, but just never does.

Thank you for making it accurate to the game. I've seen so many animations where Sans' eye is just constantly blue and/or he isn't always smiling, which is pretty annoying because that's not how it is. This was the opposite of that, it was a real joy to watch.
The song was a good choice, the editing smooth and the art style was stunning. And wow, it made make me genuinely sad at the end! Great job, from one aspiring cartoonist to another! Keep up the good work.

So, I'm gonna share my thought in story form. So, The Genocide route starts. Chara takes control of Frisk and begins the killing rampage. Almost everyone's dead at this point. Aside Chara, just the Skelebros are still living. Frisk has been watching ALL of this through Chara's eyes the whole time, unable to do anything about it- They can't stop it. They're bawling and scarred for life after forcibly witnessing it all. Then they see Papyrus. Frisk watched as Chara slowly stepped towards him, Papyrus showing endless mercy. The split second before Chara swings the blade, Frisk sees Sans in the trees. They had never seen Sans like that ever before. Papyrus was sliced and fell as dust, his scarf remaining. Sans rushed over and Chara turned around and ran off. Frisk could no longer see the scene. Frisk sees this and can't stop thinking about Sans' face. Papyrus. Everything. So she helps Chara kill Sans. DON'T HATE ME PLEASE! She kept Chara cooperative before battle as much as she could, but when it started, she gave it her all, too, to be sure that Sans was dead. Leaving him as the only one left alive in the Underground would've been torture. So Frisk chose to help Chara kill him since that would be better in the long run. He could be with his brother and everyone else again, not have any stress, and be happy. If he were to live like this down here he'd be miserable. The way I see it, that's why Chara fought so hard and with such persistence than before fighting Sans. Because of FRISK. Frisk knows Sans is only trying to stop the mad murderer and avenge his brother's death, but that doesn't really change Frisk's motives. So when Sans finally gets hit, she forces Chara out whether she wants to or not. And when Sans finally gets up there, the souls have the memory of every reset since the beginning just like him. I think that once dead, they remember all the past resets. But when alive, this doesn't apply. The souls tell Sans of what Frisk had been trying to do all that time, because being souls they have abilities and stuff. And Sans cries looking down at Frisk. Chara, with no more live victims, let's them in control. They're in the Hall in front of his jacket. All the emotions from what they saw and did in their eyes, how they feel about what they did displayed through their ever slight smile. Frisk's tears were endless as their face and body never moved. But they were finally happy. They'd Relieved Sans of his pain. He deserved this freedom a long time ago. And they finally did it. It's done. It's over. They stopped the killer. They united Sans with his brother. Everyone. They made the Underground a whole. And more some, they made the Underground rise above the humans. Everything was perfect.
"Heh, Sans... You were right... It is a beautiful day outside. The birds and flowers are quite wonderful... And I deserve to go to Hell for every thing that I did to you. What I've done could be considered as breaking a sin, in which I feel thousands of in the back of my mind like spiders. But.."

I always noticed and wondered why Sans bleeds. When you kill Toriel and Papyrus they turn to dust, like all the other monsters do. Sans, on the other hand, bleeds, as if he isn’t a monster. Humans (and other animals on Earth but I really don’t think Sans is a dog or cat) bleed, just like Sans. Maybe he was a human before? (Or it could be ketchup but this is just my theory)
