Bass or guitar amp? How does it sound with bass effects?

I use a Fender guitar amp with 12 inch speaker on a clean setting. Effects are normal guitar effect pedals that sound good with guitar as well as bass (meaning they don”t cut bass frequencies). I don’t have special bass effects.

It is not played on a bass vi but I think the song sounds really good on the bass vi when playing solo.

Yes but the idea is to play bass AND guitar parts as one solo part. On a regular bass you miss the high notes and cannot play guitar chords…
