I have been binge watching your videos. You did a great job explaining everything!
Thanks again Simone. I see your grind. Keep posting on Micro links.
My hair was short and I was able to make it happen but you are fire with the link install!!! Love!!!
Wonderful presentation and advice!!! Thank you.
Heyyyy, thanks for answering all our questions
THANK YOU THANK THANK YOU!!! You always coming thru wit the info I’m looking for! Dope✨✨✨
It’s the texture matching for me 😍
Bet no one would see this but she’s been my biggest inspiration in starting my channel
Same
For new to links...sometimes the link fails on the first go...so don't get tempted to reclamp...this will make removal nearly impossible.
To tighten...open the link... Slide the bead and link up further...reclamp. finish.
Great video, very informative!
I like how your videos get to the point! I’m getting them soon for the first time and I’m excited!! 🧡🧡
How are they? I’m thinking about trying this on my texture released hair this summer
I’m going to try this for my first time to
Very informational. Thank you!!!
I live less then an hour from Atlanta and I’m getting them done for the first time next week and this calmed my nerves !
Hi Jennifer. How are you liking it so far? I live in Atlanta and I have an appointment next week. Thanks in advance.
This was SUUUUPER helpful, im really trying to do myself, i have 4c hair and was going to buy 2 texture types just so i can see the difference. But my question is if your hair is if hair is shoulder length then is a 22" too long? Shld I stick with 20?
You are amazing and thank you for your time and helpful information
This is really helpful 🙌🏽
Thank you, I have been wanting to try Micro-links, but I was a little afraid until now.
Can you do a maintenance video?
Excellent video!!! 🔥 There really aren't many videos out there for links on natural hair.. Thank you!
Really, Really Good Information!
Thank u !!! Needed this
If the client has thin hair, they should get the single side tape ins. The single side method is less stress and tension on fine and thin hair.😉
Where do you get those I’ve never heard of them. I just removed tape ins but my hair is thin and fine so I’d like to try them
@@Only1prettyblack you just apply one side so it's less tension on your thin or fine hair. 🙂
@@seatruth5737 🤔🤔 now why i didn’t know about this
@@Only1prettyblack lol. Some stylist are selfish with information. 😆🤷♀️
Have you thought about doing a braidless sew in with microlinks ?
Thankyou so much for this! I had soooo many questions about this! I have another question though I was thinking about getting these for my vacation for Mexico. Is this a good idea? As far as I’d I go swimming?
You provided great info except itips are not a protective style. Bc all of the hair is out and not put away from heat or outside elements, nothing is actually being protected. FYI for those interested in this install technique.
What is a good protective style? Thank you
Sew in or non individual crochet
You need oxygen and the elements outside for healthy hair
Love it!
Have you ever tried tape ins?
I have really curly hair. I’m installing tape ins myself right now but I’m not loving it because I am not able to put oils and products I would usually put in my hair
You are very informative. 💖💚💖
Thanks for the advice
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 very informative video. Straight to the point
So 2 months later I’m ready to take your class !
liked the video before even watching 😍
Me too lol
Lmao same
Same 😊
Me tooo!
Same! You had me at “Everything!” 😁
U tip is same as I tips...the shape...forms a U. Some like to put there hair in the U so the hair is completely encased in it....then clamp. I tips cost more.
Imma do this myself 😍
I luv ur videos so much
Where did u get that brown top from? I love it
Foreal
Hi Simone,
Can you tell me were you bought the micro links set you have from ?
14:46
This looks like a MESHKI top
Thank you for this video
I love that brown top! Is that from your boutique?
I’ve had a few slide out. Why is this happening and how do I prevent it?
Thank you for introducing me to microlinks !💗 this style is going to generate me wealth
I was just thinking about learning to do this. What has it done for you so far sis?! Much success
Hi Simone, I tried itips too mostly based on your videos. You do a great job. Can you clarify when you say this is a protective style? I always thought protective styles are styles that your ends are totally put up. You are not touching or manipulating your ends. How are itips a protective style when all of your hair is out. 0% of your hair is protected, so I’m confused.
It’s not a protective style.
I recently had microlinks w/weft installed. I had it installed at a Dominican hair salon near Philly and it turned out amazing. Reasonable price at $95 for 4 wefts. I had more of my top left out. Total time to install and style 1.5 hrs. I actually asked for a partial sew-in and the stylist told me she does the microlinks. Of course I asked her general questions before the install. Do it damage the hair?.How long can I keep it in and can I wash it? How much does it cost to take out? She replied, there's no damage when installed properly. It can last a month or more depending on how you maintenance the hair. It can be wash n re-tighten and of course the takedown is free if they are the ones installing it. The style is very versatile and looks very natural.
Omg what salon is this? I live around Philly
@@morganyoung6478 Rosa Dominican Hair Salon on Marshall St in Norristown PA asked for Marie she's quick and professional and good stylist I like her work thus far. I also gotten glue in weave and both stylist looked very natural she can blend Hair very well as long as you provide the correct hair for your texture. Let's just say my BF is very pleased when my hair is done there.
Thank you! I’m near Philly and wanted to try this style!
@@tiffanywilliams7183 ok
@@ljackson116 do you have 4c hair texture? What kind of hair do you recommend?
Just wanted to say thank you so much for explaining everything cuz alot of females have videos and don't explain
I noticed you used 2 different hair companies. So far which one do you prefer based off experience with your hair and your cousins hair?
I used the first hair she used by Technilo and I love the hair. Only thing is next time I order hair I want it to mimic my hair texture so I might try the one she used on her cousins hair.
Thank you so much for this!
Hey, can you suggest some places to buy good hair at?
Hi, can you reuse the hair and how many times. Thanks 😊
Hello how are you?
I did my micro link 3 week ago and I already have to take it off. Is been a nightmare.
My hair is curly thin always down. Took care of it well. I have about 20 strands fall and I can see it ripped off my own hair. I have many micro link half way about to fall out. Horrible experience.
Why would this happen?
My hair stylists is recommending me tape in that are better.
Love your dress😁
I saw a V part on one of your installations why the different style of installations? Does the style depend on the installation?
I make my own i tips with bundle hair.
What would be pros and cons of Microlinks VS Tape in extensions on melanin hair ?
Melanin hair? Just say natrual hair lol
Is the tool/ needle nose pliers to use to install the same tool to use to take out the itips of that makes sense
You did an amazing job. I saw Studio Techilo install links with the weft. I know they were some type of links but couldn't figure out how the link and weft was attached. I'm curious. Do you have any idea? Thanks
You install the links on the base like a braid foundation then stitch the weft row to the beads/links
@@houseofhairUK thanks I was just so puzzled. I just couldn't figure out how she linked the weft to her clients hair? Ok help a sister out. The weft is track hair right? I love hair and different hair styles just don't know much about it. Especially hair that blends and look to natural.
@@houseofhairUK I also just subscribed so don't forget my little name. ♥️💂🎡
where did you buy your hair? any sites you recommend?
Can also make links with track hair and bulk hair.
peepla7 pinned 📌
Yes, if you haven’t discovered yet, there’s a hot pot and keratin sticks (that look like glue sticks for a glue gun) that melt in the pot. You cut the hair from the weft, dip in the pot and roll, then let cool. BOOM your own i-tips.
& ty so informative
ive purchased the pre bonded Itips{thinking it would be easier} & silicone lining micro rings, my hair is so thick i can barely get the Itips thru the rings WITHOUT pushing the silicone lining out no matter how small i make my parts. Are there different sizes micro rings or would the glue fusion be better.
They have 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm micro rings I see a lot of people use the 5mm
Do you have hair recommendations? Trying to find the best brand to work with for my type
Hi what are your suggestions for washing micro links while they’re installed?
Shampoo
Also, i felt after the install, mine weren’t full enough. Do some iTips came thinner than others? And how can I find the full iTips?
Could Try LA weave where they add tracks to the links which adds fullness x
Heyyyy gorgeous!
Do you know if the weft method is better or worse than the individual links.
Thanks for sharing
Where did you get your micro links from ?
How is this a protective style? I didn't get that part. I thought protecticve styles protect the ends of trhe hair.
Where can I get Itips? Kinky curly or curly in particular/that dye well?
does a person hair have to be long like kneck length or it doesnt matter also how does one remove them and can you reuse the micro links or they have to be new links
Your hair has to be at least 4 in, I would go to a professional to have them removed, and you can reuse the microlinks
i nvr turned so quick to look at my ipad when u said Deja lmaoooo i knew some one was calling my name
Can you wear a frontal in front for the ones with no edges?
I want to know if you can use microlinks hair if you have thin hedges how would it look, but I want to know if you can do a client with thin hedges with microlink hair so I can see how it look because I have thinning hedges just in the front I don't have thin in the back
I’m so annoyed I live in AZ and can’t find anybody that does this style and does it well!
Right omg!!! I’m in Az and I’m running into the same problem
@@brandylove17 Did y’all find anyone ? I’m looking as well.
For those who have thin hair I'd suggest tape-ins.
This video was great and I want them soooooo bad..But I cant believe that it cost upwards of 2k hair included for an installation. Blows my mind!
I’m just learning to install them and you can do it yourself but it will take around 5-6 hours. It’s sooo easy once you start practicing x
@@Beej329 I got to. I’m not paying someone’s rent for a 4 hour job. Ijs com’on stylest. 😝
@@vibewithme425 😂😂 get it done sis!! I’m going to do my own too. X
Can you reuse the links for another install?
Ty darlin
where did yoy purchase the turtle neck ?
Do you know where I can buy kinky curly Itips? Preferably 3c-4b curl pattern?
Perfect Distraction Hair Gallery
Better Length
where do you buy your itips?
I have too much hair, I don't know if it is an option for me to achieve a longer hair... I don't want it to look extra hair and unreal. 😖
Thanks
What vendors do you like for textured hair?
Does my roots need to be straight before I install ??
Thanks so much for this video ! Could you please recommend a good store to get the hair from?
She posted the names on the screen in the video
What type of hair do i need for this?
Can your hair grow without using heat
Can I use this as a form of protective styling?
It is not a protective style because 100% of your hair is exposed.
where did u get your mircolink hair
how do you keep your actual hair from dreading up above the bead after washing it a few times?
The only thing I can recommend it regularly maintenance. My hair does this and I have dry scalp so I have to wash my hair at least twice a week and I did these on myself so the only thing I can recommend to not have your hair dread is to get them tightened and maintained like she said in the video at least every 4 weeks
@@AJmakesIt wow thank you so much for the reply!💕 I have dry scalp too, your reply is so helpful😊
@@adi-ir6ot your welcome.. these has been a life saver🙌🏽 between cant really washing my hair with braids or sewn ins itchy scalp and cant reach .... lol
Where did you get the hair from
What if you’re going through hair loss is this a bad idea?
Did u mention pricing ??
Can I reuse the hair ofter removed?
Are ktips better to get?
It can't be a protective style , since your own hair's ends are out , like it would be as normal! This is like extensions "keratin" type.
No as the keratin is like glue whereas these are just beads and the strands tucked into them
And that’s why I don’t like it. Why would you want your real hair out defeats the purpose
It’s a low maintenance style, really
@@sweetpina3875 it’s high maintenance and takes upkeep
What was the hair texture at 2:23 ?
I would have to disagree about micro-links being a "protective" style. It's not considered protective because your hair is still mixed in with the weave hair.
How many micro links do you need to buy for one big head
Show a video how to remove them plz
Where'd you buy the hai
