I’ve never ever seen a show that captures the feeling of a dead older brother so well. It’s like something taboo, not to be talked about and not to be made fun of. No matter who he was as a person, the moment he hits the ground it’s like he’s been christened. His memory looms over everything forever. The show captures the feeling very well by not using Mikey too much, so when he’s in a scene you feel like you should be respectful. Of course then the show turns that onto its head by showing him as the person he was. What a brilliant series
I haven't watched it yet but my mum and sister keep telling me to watch it. My brother died and he was a chef, I wanted to follow in his foot steps but I haven't been able to go back to school because I feel selfish for being alive.
Really the greatest casting. John expresses his character in such a main/broken way it just makes you feel for him because you inevitably know he is going to kill himself.
Anyone out there struggling with mental health and feeling like you aren't worth anything, please do know you mean the world to the people close to you even if you can't feel it. They love you more than you could ever imagine and losing you would scar them for life. You are a light in this world that they need.
Bernthal is such a great actor the way his character has hung over the first and second season is such a compliment to the shows writing. That final shot of him in Season 1 is perfection. Met Bernthal at a Con and not just saying this he's one of the coolest down to Earth dudes you'd ever meet. He deserves every ounce of his success and then some
to anybody that reads this. YOU are something. don't give up. there is a chance every single day to be better than you were the day before. keep your head down and keep going
Jon Bernthal is & will always be my favorite actor in the world. I love everything he is about, involved in, and inspires to be in. The only man that can make a tear fall from my eye because any character he plays.....he does it with responsibility.
Damn! This is incredible. The bits of audio you chose were excellent, and the visuals paired with what was being said so well! UGHHH it hurt my heart, amazing edit :)
This show isn't about him. It's about his brother Carmy. I don't know when this episode happens cause I haven't gotten that far into it yet but the show is good. Would recommend.
I know this is a tribute to the actor, but it goes on in real life people deal with addiction and depression. Can’t take it no more and commit suicide. There’s always somebody out there to listen to somebody else’s story or give somebody a hug when they need it, anybody reading this message and dealing with what this actor dealt with this series is Hope just reach out

I feel like there isn't enough Jon Bernthal content
I have the same feeling, FX could give US more scenes with him. I tried to catch as many of them I could. After all Micky had big influence on Carmy.
@@shermanboi7313 yes. he is such an amazing actor, i really hope we get more of him next season.
There never is
@@davidullrich9905never will be
Agree! I’d watch a spin-off of just Mikey and Richie

A great actor and a great human love his interviews as well
The Punisher & David Liberman meet Saul Goodman❤❤
It took me entirely too long to realize the guy who played Lieberman in Punisher is Richie.
awesome edit.

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, RICK!
I wonder Micheal is Lee dad. All ways dad talk that to your son.
Nah that’s his stepson
No, Michael is Lee's stepson, I think. I haven't seen the show but from the clips, that's the impression I get.
