It's so real though, so many young cooks will come into work and be excited and inspired and supported by their team all the time that they think it's kinda just a fun place to experiment, they don't realize that shit hit the fan like 20 minutes ago. Usually it doesn't involve as much shouting and it's more of a quiet pressure cooker, but the sentiment is real.
I'll be honest, it still baffles me how completely oblivious Marcus was to all that chaos, wanting to tell him about the donuts lol...Carmy was foul toward him, but that still baffled me.
When you greatly respect someone older than you, you had this instinct to always do the best for them. They become the center of your momentum. That would always be the root cause of whatever comes out from you. 😎
