This is great! I was actually wondering if this was possible but how to make it happen. These videos have been super helpful. I’ve been messing around with frontends for a few years now. Big Box has been a blast!

Personally I think the new default theme is a little plain, grey and boxy but luckily its so easy to change themes and there are a few really good ones. The new default theme for Launchbox is nice though. I like that, I will say the gaps between the boxes on the new Launchbox are a little big, I have to resize the thumbnails very finely to close that gap as much as possible. but this is all just two cents, its not a problem or criticism. I love Launchbox so thanks team.
Check your options for a Spacing setting. You should be able to adjust that to your liking.

I love default theme now, its wonderful!.Its possible in the future to add in game details: region and custom fields, please?.Thats would be awesome.Thank you so much!.
You think is possible to have a vertical theme where, lets say, the screen is divided in 6 parts. At the top, occupying 3 parts, the games would be occupying several lines and columns. Let's say 3x4 games in that section. Occupying 2 parts would be the description and images of the selected game. And finally in the last part the different systems (SNES, PS1, Genesis, etc.) rotating as in the horizontal wheel of the video. For me this is the perfect setting for a vertical setup whit a big monitor of low resolution but i dont have found anything like this.

I use UNIFIED REDUX theme: how can I switch to the new BB default theme?
EDIT: ok found: installed LB/BB on 2nd PC, and copy/paste "....\Launchbox\Themes\Default\" folder to 1st PC (as "....\Launchbox\Themes\Default_new\" )

Hi I got a full split romset for mame on launch box and its about 70+ gb I'm not going to play alot of these games and it takes too much space is there a way I can reduce the bulk from the romset? so the file size reduces
If you are looking to remove games from a MAME full set, your best bet is to use a non-merged set, as it's the only one where 1 rom equals 1 game. A split set has many files that equals 1 game, and because of this, you'll end up breaking your games if you start deleting or moving files from the directory.

I just tried to play some snes and N64 games on launch box. Why are they running so slowly? I have a hp omen with a 12700k, 32gb ram, &.rtx 3080.

The custom themes are so bad for sports games and wrestling games. Its like they just grabbed any random google image
Sounds like you might be referring to fanart background images here. The good news is that these are all user submitted and any user has the ability to change them to something more appealing using our LaunchBox Games Database: gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/account/register
