Wes favorite features:
- 3D models
- brush engine that's inbetween PS render and Rebelle looseness. It feels different.
- great brush packs from Ray Frenden
- image reference color auto replace (note shown)
- tone correction
- most responsive. Never crashes.
- Can import PS brushes

That 3D doll thing seems pretty handy to stage many characters in a composition. Cool stuff!
Wes, were you looking at any references while doing this? Came out really nice!
I did! I had some costume ref on PureRef on the other monitor, mainly texture things for the fur collar and rim light! This is one of those paintings that I could spend 40+ hours on and have 200 references on the board, but got a decent enough result after about 3 hours or so (and recording the entire painting would be insanity)!
I've been using Clip Studio since it was Manga Studio 5. I own Photoshop and Corel Paint, but CS is my cornerstone software for commissions. Ease of use, fantastic feature set, and low CPU and GPU hit coupled with low latency make it my favorite.
It's an absolute banger, I find myself using it more and more, on both personal AND client work!
I use the iPad version of Clip studio, You do need to do the subscription model on the tablet so there's that. Though it is my go to drawing/art creation app of choose. It really has replaced Photoshop for me.

Your brushes work fine in CSP, not had to change anything apart from size even on my Chromebook Wes.

Very nice video thanks for doing this. Would you ever consider doing a short video covering cps on a tablet? I know it's slightly different and it might be cool to see how a professional artist would use the program on a tablet.

Heck yeah!! Another rgeat one, Wes! Keep 'em coming :D Never considered Clip Studio for painterly art, but you're slowly convincing me to try it out! However, Rebelle has gotten a firm grasp on me, for the last year.
Yeah, Rebelle's becoming the go-to standard for the painterly stuff, for sure!

Hi there! So I use a Huion Kamvas 22 for my day-to-day. Love Huion, and have had great luck with XP Pen as well! Way more affordable (and better driver support) than Wacom, in my experience.
