Thank you
OMG Lindo
thanks!
Nuostabios rožės, kai kurias pati auginu... Labai kokybiškos nuotraukos, buvo malonu žiūrėti🤗
Thank you very much!
This is a very helpful video! They are stunning!! Too bad we can't smell at home! Some of my favorite rose scents in my garden- Princesse Charlene de Monaco, The Poet's Wife, Sharifa Asma, Maid Marion and Elle.
Thank you! I absolutely love Sharifa Asma's fragrance. I do Princess Charlene de Monaco as well! I have yet to smell the Poet's Wife.
@duanesroses I'm in a warm zone, but The Poet's Wife is exceptional. I grew it in a pot on my deck my first year. It didn't occur to me that I needed to protect it when we got in negative temps around Christmas 😉 It died completely back, I planted it in my new garden last spring, and it flourished! It's one of my favorites. It does well even in the worst of summer
yours will compete with some of the best roses out there and better them ALL!!!!!, AFTER INTRODUCTION
Certainly a necessary step!
Have you grown Summer Romance? I've heard it isn't very winter hardy, unfrotunately.
@@duanesroses it's only been here one winter. The Temps dropped like a rock last Christmas then came back up to normal the rest of winter. I think it was minus 3 was the coldest temp. SR is about 3 feet on the tallest cane. She just sat in the ground last year. No disease but only about 3 flowers. This year she woke up a bit and had 2 bloom flushes with some scattered. I'm hoping 2024 will be her year! But NO die back Duane. In the open with west wind, no mulch. You know I practice tough love on my roses except for a very FEW! If you don't like it rose, here let me shovel prune you!!!! I'm impatiently waiting on your releases!!! Pretty some Del is just going to make a trip to Washington with a spade and take some "samples"!!!! He is sick of seeing Gertrude Jykell covered in black spot from June to frost! He hates black spot more than me! I will replace most of our Austin's with your "Arctic Love" roses! They can take temperatures colder than a mother in laws heart and fill a garden with fragrance...you can use that on a Billboard...I won't charge a fee...so as you release..a pink ill replace an Austin pink...a yellow I'll replace an Austin yellow and so on..I may keep 3 or 4..I love red Austin's and they don't seem so disease prone...sorry for long message..but SR is fine as far as I can tell on hardiness but shy for me on blooms...but I've seen people here and in Europe with a bush loaded with bloom. I'm going to water more next year. We are still in a mild drought 2 years running...have a great New Year and give Buck some ear scratches for me!!🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
@@duanesroses you might ask cathedral the rose..aka Will.....and Cristina...I'm sure both follow you..Cristina is in Penn so just a state away. Will is in Idaho so closer to you. Cathedraloftherose has a UA-cam and may have Summer Romance in it.
excellent!@@country_boy_zone6b
Thanks!@@country_boy_zone6b
lovely
Thank you!
Where can I find Love’s Light rose? I’m not finding it on the internet at all in the US. Thank you and really enjoy your video!
Thank you! Hopefully it will be available on line through highcountryroses in the future, but they will probably need to test it for themselves first.
I have rooted cuttings to ship several places for testing. If I have any extras I might make them available. This would be a rooted cutting, so very young and small, needing time to establish in the garden.
You can find information on it if you look it up on helpmefind.com in a rose search.
None will grow from your choice in zone 4
That is too bad! They all need crossed with zone 3 roses to increase their hardiness. I am in that process, but it is surely a tedious and slow one.
Sweet Love and Love's Light both made it through a really cold zone 4 winter last year, but they had snow protection. Do you have any snow for protection? Or add protection to your roses?
