@Talon1124 its more about everyone in the fight against a literal god Spoilers : The boss, Sunday, is using people and locking them in dreams to gain a dead God's power. So the ending of the lyrics is quite literal. "In the face of god we rose as one". And before the actual final fight, we're literally going around scrounging for every single help possible. A Galaxy Ranger, An Emanator of Nihility, The Trailblazers/Nameless, People who follow Harmony etc.
Its actually a truly brilliant moment. So much about Penacony has been about music and building up this inevitable concert. The Planet of Penacony is supposed to be a haven for the Harmony. Which is basically what the organization that runs the planet lives by. The background of the boss is complicated but needless to say the first 2 phases of the boss are an epic theme youd expect. Very symphonic. The Boss is even called the Harmonius Choir. However when youre at youre lowest about to lose, in comes "Hope is a thing with feathers" from your ally Robin. Creating what is described as Penaconys first and last Disharmony. Her Harmony overwhelming the Harmonius Choir with help from you and all you allies beliefs. And with this youre able to beat the boss. Such a great finale to this story arc.
As a player of both FFXIV AND Star Rail, I can only tell you with minimal spoilers that the moment this track plays in-game was as hype as Endsinger was.

Dude I’d HIGHLy recommend this game. The stories aAnd the characters all combine so smoothly and beautifully. There’s multiple different game modes and side missions so that even if you finish the main story stuff there’s still so much to do. They just added two game modes actually. Some of the events are permanent so you can get the rewards whenever you’re ready. And of course, the music is amazing. Even the non vocal OSTs are so incredible

The problem I had with 2.3 was that the climax of 2.2 was way too good thanks to this song and how it was used, 2.3 just felt underwhelming in comparison. The new song wasn't as good and the build up to it being used wasn't nearly as strong. But it really solidified how much I enjoyed 2.2's ending and this song.
@@LloydRenzelAlvarez yeah if you go into it expecting like an extended post credits scene it feels a bit better, but with all the hype building from the FF trailers beforehand my expectations were just too high for what we got.

That got me thinking of a scenario to make FF shine tho, What if the characters had more trouble finding the bombs, with everyone only gathering 499 of the dolls, but then FF shows up, SAMs up, and then finds the 500 like it was nothing. I feel like that would show FF's effectiveness and reputation as a Stellaron Hunter and Glamoth Cavalry veteran experience.

Would have been cool if it was a cutscene. The tone of the patch was kinda all over the place like it felt they only half took the bomb threat seriously and it never really felt dangerous. So it wasn't as emotional as it could have been. It has good moments the pacing and tone is just weird and doesn't work for a lot of it.
