Oh I see... That's tooo bad. One last request: the way you love music - please react to Joy(we are family) by the soil.. Chills I tell you
Sent u a link for St Lucia In KZN. It's another stunning place people never talk about much. Enough of CT, Jozi & Durbs. There are alot more gems in Mzansi. There's also Port Alfred located jn Port Elizabeth. Stunning. ❤😊
Dude didn't even list Constantia 🤦🏽
That's because he doesn't know it
Yeah his knowledge of CT is limited . He left out alot of places ...
But he mentioned Bishops Court which is right next door. I mean there's Tokai not mentioned as well.
Oh yeah, how could he leave that out?
Also he should have said WC, not South Africa..... Port Alfred is way better than Muizeberg.
I love it when our country is showcased but I wish it could be done by somebody who's from here who knows the ins & outs
Someone like.... you. It should be u.
He left out a lot of other cool places. Fresnaye, Val de Vie in Paarl, Constantia, & Waterfront. I honestly don’t think there is any other residential properties anywhere on the African continent that can compete with Western Cape. Luxury, exclusivity and good return on investment.
Johannesburg got some cool properties though
He's don't know about south Africa well
He is nigerian obviously
SA, love it, love it, love it! What a beautiful country. I especially love the Capetown scenery....Wow
Cape Town is cool but Durban is the vibe - just saying 😎 We got the best weather, and in KwaZulu Natal, you have the beach, the bush (game reserves / safaris) and the mountains (Drakensburg). All in one province! And there are more built up areas as well as more farmland locations, if you go further north, or even Everton or Hillcrest. And if you like nature, Durban has it all. Maybe I'm biased because I live here, but I love Durban. We have the energy and the vibes 🙌
And you have jz lmao
You probably have the best winter weather but the summers are uncomfortable, PE has the best weather all year round, not too hot and humid in summer and not to cold in Winter.
Thats not even 3 % of the most luxurious houses we have here in South Africa..We have the craziest Suburbs & Estates that can compete on a global stage.
And then there is Thembisa.
I agree with the guy who suggested Constantia as a place to book if you want space and privacy. You could travel into the other areas conveniently from there. My friends live on the Atlantic seaboard so it's an easy visit.
If you convert your $ to ZAR, you will be able to buy houses that a lot of us can't afford..that's the one benefit that you would have as immigrants ❤ You definitely seem to fit in more in Franschoek and Stellenbosch based on what you're looking for. I must say that you will be surprised at how little parking space CT has and also extremely narrow roads.. my husband also hates the fact that you don't have enough backroads and you need to drive at least 30min from one destination to the next..you're always caught between the mountain and the ocean..JHB suits us better for those reasons 😊
You should do a similar video on JHB and Pretoria..you might like it too
Also, just outside Capetown, like 30 minutes langebaan, Tulbagh, Stillbaai, Jeffrey's bay... that's just western cape/Eastern cape border... can you imagine them exploring KwaZulu-Natal? Port Edward, Umhlanga, valley of a 1000 Hills... Umdloti, Zinkwazi, St. Lucia?
Truly endless.
If they go to South Africa later this year, they need to spend 3 months there to really explore the beaty and the many cultures.
I hope this happens for them. I look forward to their content and experiences. I just adore them and I don't know of any other Americans that would appreciate and give true revues than them.
I hope this happens 🇿🇦❤✌
There are a lot of really beautiful places in the greater Cape Town area that I would honestly rather live in than most of the ones in this video. I find most of these to be tasteless shrines to obscene wealth - mostly they're famous for being eyewateringly expensive rather than being actually all that nice to live in. Many of the areas listed are not that safe (I wouldn't walk around alone at night) and have horrific traffic. More to my taste are safe, friendly, low stress neighbourhoods surrounded by natural beauty (hard to avoid that in Cape Town at least). Lots of nice areas around the southern peninsula, for example (though also not exactly cheap unfortunately). Personally I found a lovely little seaside village stuffed full of beauty, mountains, ocean, lovely friendly people and good enough internet for me to work from home (and half the prices for property compared with the areas closer to the city). I used to live in Constantia (one of the areas usually listed in these sort of wealth parades) and it was very nice, a horsey area (there are crosswalk buttons at horse rider height), fairly quiet and safe, but I much prefer my new little village. My advice to anyone looking to move here is to explore areas outside of these "top 10" type lists if you're after actual good quality of life rather than flaunting obscene wealth in the most unequal country in the world.
You can't beat Cape Town...Wow.
The accent tells me the person narrating this ain't South African so it's no wonder they didn't mention everything. Cape Town is beautiful but as someone from KZN I'll say Ballito is too tier as well
Ywws true..Ballito and Zimbali
Joburg is the best place! You can always vacation the rest
Based on what? What are u rating as best?
@bonganimiya1310
That's good question 😂😂
There's a famous fish and chips outlet in Hout Bay. Since you guys love seafood, please explore when you come, you won't believe your tastebuds.
Mariners Wharf or Fish on the Rocks are both excellent! Yum.
@@bilkees8151 Mariners Wharf. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yet to be to Fish on the Rocks. 🙌🏾
For myself I recommend Elawini Estate in Nelspruit/Mbombela in Mpumalanga 🇿🇦. For you I recommend Pretoria North❤️ very sunny ☀️
Yes yes including the rest Eco Estate
Yes!! Mpumalanga is beautiful. Heaven in earth.
I recommended this UA-cam video,thank for reacting❤
This is the South Africa they don't tell you about. Go to Johannesburg and Durban to name but few, you will be amazed.
Cape Town more like travel destination of the world .
The 30,000,000 dollar house would be best for y'all lol.
Hey, now that you've seen CPT, the channel (showcasing the properties) has released a video on properties in Johannesburg, South Africa. I think you would love those.
It rains all the time during the winter months in the Cape. If you like England weather you'll be fine. The sea water is also freezing. You have to swim with a diving suit. If the North Easterly wind blows it can almost blow you over, that's why the old seafarers called it the Cape of storms, but it's part of the embience and UT creeps into your heart. Durban is nice in the winter and it's the best time to visit but occasionally extremely hot days in the summer with high humidity. Wonderful if you spend all your time in the water swimming and doing water sports.
About Franschhoek, it is same area that last apartheid leader of SA had his residence. Current president also built a house in the Western Cape too. The attraction of the region is to be exclusive for the elite.
On a political level, I have misgivings about the areas being inaccessible to me. But on a personal level I think to myself I wouldn't care about the place and I have my own cross to carry.
Makes no sense why he did Marina da Gama? It’s not luxury - but not to include Constantia or even Sunset Beach? For you guys Constantia is lower end of Bishops Court which you like. Sunset beach is like the houses in Camps Bay but on flat land right next to the beach.
I'd also go for Sunset Beach !!
When he said Marina Da Gama, I was shocked as well. Might as well have added Fishoek while he was at it. Constantia should definitely be amongst the list.
It's important that we do our own videos like these instead of foreigners coming in to do it for us as they don't always have the correct information or do enough research.
Cape Town beautiful place
I would consider Johannesburg's Waterfall Equestrian Estate, Blue hills equestrian estate, Blair Atholl Golf estate and surrounding areas, Midrand, Hyde Park, for more spacious houses/Mansions. Johannesburg is the South African city with more large sized mansions.
Camps Bay has beach properties where you cannot see your neighbor. The main Road is high above your back yard and your view is the ocean.
It's crazy how South Africa's history and stories are told by non-south Africans. No hate just an observation, from how they aren't even pronouncing the places and names right to history in the books told by Wikipedia 🤔. Just a thought
To be fair, South Africans are not doing it themselves so someone does it for them. Unfortunately they'll tell their version of the story, stories are written from the perspective of the ones telling them.
You still had to be xenophobic for just a video
@@Nielsssssss ok
@@leratomabuela3661 lol, you got called xenophobic just by stating a thought with no malice, that's the unfortunate problem of being South African, you have to love and accept everyone by force.
Most of those homes you see in Cape Town are owned by foreigners, especially the really expensive homes. The weak Rand makes buying these houses extremely attractive for people earning money overseas.
They didn’t mention Gordon’s bay, constantia, Simon’s town , fish hoek ,Somerset , blouberg, strand beach views and century city . 😭🔥🔥
Melkbosstrand, Sunset beach, Constanstia, Big Bay, Myburgh Park🎯
I love Camps Bay❤, the lifestyle
Dave Chappelle and Sam Jackson has or had homes in Cape Town
I had no idea😮
American Celebrities wont tell you coz they want to keep this luxury exclusively away from other Americans😅
I hope nobody that pays 1 million usd upwards for a home has time or desire to be spying neighbors🤣🤣
Thanx guys... Awesome video
He missed quite a few places in Cape Town, Constansia, Platterkloof, Durbanville to name a few
Wow I've never been this early 🎉
That ain't South Africans staying that side ...that's OLD GENERATIONAL MONEY ...
As African Americans I will recomend more darker cities such as Durban or Joburg.
Durban is more relaxed and laid back with ocean views as beautiful and more affordable than Capetown.
What does darker cities mean? Majority of Cape Town and Western cape Province is made up of people of colour. White population is the minority. Although they still have Most wealth that is due to apartheid and change will take a while as our democracy is at work.
Cape Town is very expensive
"Darker Cities" ??
@@user-zx1di8tz4f yes Darker cities.
@@user-zx1di8tz4f you know what I mean.
Where is Bloubergstand, Gordon's Bay and Plattekloof .
Only for the rich and famous my dear😢
Constantia has properties that rival camps bay in price and quality but over 5 times the size.
Keep in mind the exchange rate presently is R19.45 or so for 1 dollar….
Stellenbosch is where all the billionaires and handlers of the country resides 😢
Joburg still has the most richest
@@isoboy1000 re-read my comment again
I did and not all Billionaires stay in Stellenbosch that’s a fact.
Stellenbosch mafia😂😅
South Africa has it's issues, however, it is a remarkably beautifull country! Oceans, forests, deserts, rivers, mountains and the people are as remarkable! Disclosure: I am South African. Not in the tourism or real estate industry!
The only problem is that this guy is not South African and there is a lot that he does not know about properties in Western Cape😴😴😴. He is not very knowledgeable because there are a few drawbacks he failed to mention.
yes SOUTH AFRICA
You guys sud read the book the lie of 1652 you guys will learn where the coloured tag comes from & the real history of cape town it's original name is Camissa aka Tsui Gaeb
Where is even gardens that near to camps bay😢 no platterkloof no constatia where the big houses and rich people live
We stay in Bantry Bay. ❤
There are places in Johannesburg that are very beautiful as well.
Check out Plattekloof Cape Town
I live a stone throw away from Marina Da Gama and its more middle class. Constantia and Bishops court where millionaires and billionaires stay is not even mentioned
That's just in town theirs more on the west caost and on the other side of the mountain
private estates enforce the design. so if u buy a house, or the land and build, in an estate u have to conform sadly.
They need to show jhb pta north west in the rustenburg area this is only one place that is shown alot more places to see nelspruit and much more
Yeah I stay in Sea Point😊
Cela I invite Bandla 😭
Students accommodation or back packing 😭🤣🏃♂️🤸♀️🤸♂️
When you guys visiting???
Clifton 😂😂😂please try drive to your house on new years or Christmas day 😂😂😂😂
I would rather live in the Gauteng area and vacation in Cape town
American tv you mean, in my country (uk) I’ve seen many programmes on the high life there.
Late it's 19.30 loadshedding in 30mins😂
Same here
Be positive just once we all aware of loadshedding ey
Soo boring right
Youd probably enjoy Joburg more, if you want beach front then Durban
Don't forget in South Africa ee don't have wood houses unless for just fun not as ordinary house
I own a house in a Clifton…. lol
You monied
Please React to KwaZulu-Natal Durban Ballito
Visiting in November...where should I book an Airbnb?
Durbanville
@@renchiaarendse3042 is that relatively close to everything or the area is nice and safe?
@Princeejiro a bit far from cpt but one of the safest out here.
If you want to be close enough to the city but not pay as much then I'd go Constantia, Goodwood bit no harm on seeing if there's some good deals in cape town cbd
@@renchiaarendse3042 Thank you so much... I feel like I've seen cape town cbd mentioned but don't know the difference when searching on airbnb lol 😅
@Princeejiro it can be confusing yes.
If you see Sea Point, Cape Town, Green Point, Clifton, Camps Bay, Bantry Bay, you're pretty much in the CBD.
Other than that, you're good.
Franschhoek will definitely provide you the space you want.
lol n r 10 Merina Da Gama ... thats more middle class doesn't fit with the most lux . Also that isn't Atlantic seaboard that is near muizrnberg - False Bay
You not paying for the house as much as you are for the property and location.
Sandton and and Cape subs are the best to live in
They never show the real cape town lol
No there are lions running down our streets 😂 proudly coloured capetonian wouldn't exchange my city for the world.
Marima de gama is where resident evil was filmed
🔥🔥
Water front Cape town ❤
It's not all there's more places to see I promise u
Sandton Johannesburg
A South African will do a better job than someone from another country I hope you get me
Darker cities. Not too white
Stellenbosch community is about colonial history more than scenery.
Its expensive coz the richest Dutch (Afrikaneer) community who are rumoured to influence South Africas economy and politics live there.
Almost like Texas oil Billionares influence Americas politics.e
Sometimes refered to as "Stellenbosch Mafia " by its opposers😅
There are spaces ..they will never be accepted in.. due to SAs racism.. sadly because all the beautiful spaces are Apartheid influenced.
Green point too🫡
Cape Town is beautiful but I wouldn't want to live there. The weather is not the greatest and the roads are so narrow in places. Also property is hellishly expensive. Durban is much more affordable, we also have our wealthy areas, and the weather is much kinder all year round.
If you not a millionaire in America you can easily be one in South Arica with just $60 000 😂😂😂😂
True
Clifton the best
Come and stay in SA
You cant compare this to USA
AN AVERAGE AMERICAN CAN LIVE LARGE IN SOUTH AFRICA
Joburg is the best
I'm south african. How did Marina da Gama get on the list? 😂😂😂 I'm sorry but this person clearly does not know the Western Cape very well. He tried tho.
Where do they get these narrators? This is nonsense. ❤️🇿🇦 🏡🏡
.do you live under a rock or have you never been to cape town 😐
Langa is the best
He left Constantia the richest of all?
it's just $600 000 us😅🤣🤣
Why they saying the estate houses look the same like we haven't seen how their houses look like in the USA..
This guy is showing you farm houses.... He isn't South African so he cannot be sure about where modern Mansions are
Stellenbosch Mafia
Comon now lets be real , the narrator is exaggerating as a south African who has been abroad the US and Austria and have seen parts of the US that makes these South African suburbs that this narrator is hyping look like the projects Cape Town only has the scenery to bragg about period
C’mon now be real, everyone’s perspectives is inclusive to THEIR experiences.
Not even half of CT was covered. Too much to offer to the world.
