That’s a good idea. I had some health issues that kept me from doing much on youtube for a couple years and since coming back I’ve had a hard time being creative. I’m trying my best, however.

Fantastic job! I as well have been looking for new videos of yours as well. Question and this may be silly..why the gloves? Does it help your grip better or do you have an issue with the latex pealing at your skin as well?
Hi Rokisha! Yes, I had to practice all the elements of this design several times over several days before I could get everything just right. I was attempting to prevent further damage to my nails and cuticles at certain times whilst filming. If I could find a white pair of gloves that were cloth and did not interfere with my twisting I would wear them all the time, for finger protection and for aesthetic reasons. Thank you for answering my question🤗 I just as if recent started using baby oil to help with the balloons because my skin peels as well. If I find any other techniques that will work I’ll try to respond to this post and let you know. I’m going to try the gloves next time. Thanks again for the helpful advice.

I am already working on my next video. I bought 50 bags of those dollar store marble balloons that everyone seemed to like and am planning the biggest dollar store arch I have ever made. I feel like 2019 is really going to be a great year.
@@BalloonSage I sure hope you have an electric inflator! You can get some really good ones at Amazon for about $20 - they don't automatically size the balloons but you can make one with cardboard to make sure your balloons are all the same size.
Oh my gosh, that’s right. I do have a little electric pump that I got at the party store, but I definitely need a balloon sizer. Do you think people expect me to have made my own or do you think I’ll be okay in buying a sizer and using that on camera?

Hi Colleen! Honestly, the amount of work that went into designing and teaching and filming this column went beyond anything I have contended with before. I am so happy that it is finally finished and that you enjoyed it. That rotating base - it is a lazy susan repurposed so that I can show every angle of a design at any stage of construction. I saw one at Target and knew it would be perfect for the videos! Maybe I will do a face reveal one day. I really appreciate your comment and I hope you have a wonderful New Year!

New to balloon twisting and really enjoying your tutorials! I’m wondering though where do you get your specific size balloons? I’ve been buying from amazon, but their numbers are all wrong, when I ordered 260 I got what looks like 160... please help :( I’m currently trying to learn the top hat.
Hi there! I order all my balloons from the same source : the Mayflower Distributing Company. I love EBay (and buy and sell on there) but I have never bought anything from Amazon, and I never buy balloons on eBay due to cost. The catalogue and website I order from provides item numbers so I always get exactly what I ordered as I confirm each item number. I’ve never bought balloons anywhere else so I’m afraid I don’t have any other suggestion. Thank you for your question!

Hi! Oh yeah, this column was the greatest challenge I have ever faced. Designing it, redesigning it so it was teachable, filming and editing this video was much more difficult than my viewers will ever know. However, After completing and uploading this tutorial, I rediscovered my passion for this in a way I was not expecting. I am already working on two new videos and have a book I fill with all my ideas and technical information regarding new creations, I am back learning and creating new balloon twisting designs ... I’m basically trying to say that I felt a bit lost in what I was doing, but now it feels again like the old days where all of this is a happy and fulfilling job and I am brimming with optimism and creativity.
Haha, yes - I have not cut my hair in almost 3 years. I’ve always felt like my hair should be long though it has always been quite short - so I finally decided I wanted to feel like the real me. Next step is to pack on about 20 pounds of muscle, as I have started weight training and running on the beach. That feels like what I need to do.

Hi there. Ooh, these are just latex gloves from the dollar store. I wear them because they help protect my nails and cuticles from getting damaged. Unfortunately, they cause your hands to get very sweaty rather quickly and their usefulness dissipates. I have tried all sorts of gloves from rubber to cloth and I have never found a pair that were truly functional for live twisting. Thank you for your question and I wish I could be more helpful.
They’re included free with most health insurance plans. Get as many as you need next time you’re in the doc’s office. Just wait until he leaves tho!

Hi there! I must tell you honestly that I have never seen a Bowser balloon animal done well, and I honestly have never designed one before. Even the best twister on UA-cam (Michael Floyd) has never tackled this particular character - although he has created Luigi and Mario and a Bob-omb and other Mario characters. I would be happy to send you links to his channel and tutorials if you are interested, but I checked for you and nobody has a Bowser.
