Hello I did this column this morning ☺turned out great! Im wondering if you used a double air pump?
When you say 3 pumps is actually 6 pumps.
My air pump didn't enflate the balloons enough so I'm curious if that was the reason

I love your videos. I want to ask, how do you do to pass the ribbon through the balloons without exploding them??

Hi there! There is actually a fair amount of space for you to pull the balloons through the quads, as they can be slightly pulled apart from each other before they snap back into place. When creating the "spine" of the column (the center structure) you just have to make sure when pulling tightly on your ribbon that it is not pulling against an inflated portion of balloon and is set through the center of the column where there is empty space. Just practice and be mindful of every movement you make - move the balloons out of your way as needed.

I generally recommend columns built onto a pole and baseplate setup for outside use. These sort of columns are ideal for indoor parties. Thank you for your question.
