There was no mention of releasing the drive shaft before trying to remove the hub- unfortunately your video here made it seem that would be a simple process, fortunately I have the puller and induction heater necessary to release the drive shaft splines (I hope, trying later....). For many, this is a big point to highlight. In older cars it is VERY unlikely the driveshaft splines will release just by pulling the hub. Damage to the universal joints can also occur this way if the splines are not first released.
Otherwise, I love your videos and use them a lot, this is constructive critisism only. Often you guys are 100% on point with your guides. Thanks and keep up the great work

I have a outlander 2011 and the ABS sensor (speed sensor) came loose and it can not be fitted back. Guess the mount or similiar is just all rusted out. My question is, is the mount or socket for the ABS sensor a part of the hub? So if i change it like in your video, I Also change the ABS sensor mount?

Mine went like this on a 2013 no shoe brake (for you guys in comments) wheel speed sensor pops out of the clip. When using the slide hammer my hub bearing broke so i used an air hammer on the 4 hub bolts halfway threaded out (usually those take about 5 mins total of constant 100% air hammer) in this case it came out on 50% power for air hammer with ease in 10 seconds.

I have a 2011, i was fixing my rear brakes and i noticed that the center bolt for the hub/bearing is so far out that there is no room for the spring....this is from previous ovner, i have no faulty movement but its not good ofc, is there something i should think about before taking it apart?

Cant we just replace the rear bearing instead of the complete hub?..as we did in case of front wheel where we replaced the bearing only

I’m working on the 2wD version and there’s no axle. The hub is seized on the knuckle

+webmoss This procedure might be different for your application. We do not currently have a how-to video for this particular year, make and model. Thank you for asking! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
