2016 Seat Ateca car review

Not including reclining rear seats is a bit of a piss-take. Such a simple option to include, and honestly I'd get one of these, but I enjoy taking passengers on long road trips, and expect them to be comfortable, so Seat/VW can do one.

Alexander Dunning Tiguan has reclining/sliding seats. Plus it's intended to be a cheaper alternative to the Tiguan

amillwardmusic my point was that it is such a simple feature to add, even as a cost option, that it's​omission is galling. Yes​ this vehicle is supposed to be the cheaper option, but there are many other reasons to prefer it to the Tiguan, such as handling and size. VW's efforts stratify their hierarchy are irritating for consumers wanting to spend thousands on uncompromised products. Saying 'you want this incredibly basic feature we purposefully omitted, ok spend more on the next VW tier up' is not good consumer service.

the basic price is pretty cheap for such a good quality.
