No media hub, no custom themes, games take a shit load of memory to install, Sony demands 1 first party game per franchise to show off its power unless your fucking Knack. No backwards compatibility, Shit loads of last gen games just to deal with the backwards compatibility issue. (Seriously, who the hell asked for Sleeping Dogs or Saints Row on PS4?) And tons and tons of online focus and micro transactions in games. Compared CoD in PS3 era to now. I never played Black Ops 1, but then I bought it for $2 last month and I noticed how much better it was and why it was so popular than the loot box filled RNG in the newer titles. I follow Crowbcat and he points out the lack of polish and detail that newer games have compared to last gen which is hilarious.
I like PlayStation for a number of reasons John. I grew up with it, so it has nostalgic value. But it all comes down to games - Sony owns all the franchises I've enjoyed so much over the years. As such, I play my multiplatform games there too. Every new console or handheld they do is generally pretty awesome. But I do still play pretty much any game machine under the sun.

2013 young Ryan was talking like he was on playback speed 1.5, maybe even 1.75 lol Despite the speed, I like the passion he has for his PS3 and things he has on it. I am like Ryan with my PS3, custom themes, tons of photos, music, and videos saved on it. It really was more than just a video game console but my media machine. I also was really into trophy collecting however I played far fewer games but completed everything I played or attempted to, damn you Street Fighter IV trials. This video brings back good memories for me as PS3 is one of my favorite consoles.
Ryan, my favorite game is definately The Last Of Us. It sits there right next to the GTA franchise (it's so much fun) and The Walking Dead game. But TLoU is my #1, hands down. I loved the story, the characters, the graphics and everything else. I played that game whenever I could. BUT, I also love Journey. If you've played it, you'll get what I'm saying. If you haven't, I extremely reccommend you do.

The XMB is simple enough isn't it? I don't know why non-PS3 users(Xbox users in particular) sometimes complain about it. Maybe the reason why its easy for me is because I also used to play on the PSP which has a pretty similar menu screen/XMB. Or perhaps its just a matter of getting used to.

Ryan, there's a fantastic glitch for GTA IV where you can get $136k an hour without even being at your PS3. You need two copies of the game though and both copies must have the expansions bought from PSN store. Not GOTY verison.

Get a flash drive and on a pc label a new folder MUSIC in caps and put music in the ps3 should then read it and allow you to copy music to it
