Corsa D- Addressing the MOT advisories

Hey Guys! Today we will be sorting out the MOT advisories out on my Vauxhall Corsa D 1.2.
I hope the video is useful if you have these advisories especially the brake ferrule as I wasn't originally aware of what that was.

Failed on McPherson Top mount support bearing.
Advisories- Indicator deteriorated offside and nearside.
Brake Ferrule corroded but not excessive on nearside and offside.

Hey mate, one advise from me, you should put some dehumidifier in the garage to prevent rust and mold. In Serbia they sell some type with sand bag in plastic box. Its 4 euro here.

Hi Tom, I have just got a 2009 Corsa life (think we have a similar year/ model), I was wondering where you got that all black front grill as I really dont like the chrome trim V on the front. Thanks and have learned a lot about my car from your channel!

You can buy plasti dip to paint your grill. I done mine in Magma red. Easy to install and if you mess up you can just peel it off. Just apply 7 coats straight on waiting 35 minutes in between

Sorry i wasnt clear, the brake ferrule was corroded on both sides. Therefore i removed all the rust and coated it with ceratec brake lube to stop rust coming back.

Picky mot station. I swear small independent garages are the worst for it. Gone are the days where the small independent garage was fair days work for a fairs day pay.

Yeah I think you are totally right really! I took it to the dealership for the next mot and it passed with flying colours
