I have to warn you that I have no formal automotive training, and have just learned by breaking stuff. If you can learn anything from my mistakes then great, but you do so at your own risk!
Good video.Ive just ordered a pair of Ridex Plus rear dampers as on recent service it was pointed out to me that off side rear damper was leaking oil.I wasnt gonna bother with new dust cover and bump stops but after watching your video it makes economic sense to replace them at the same time as the dampers.
@@safdarrizvi9885 Thanks 👍. Yep, makes sense. Good luck sorting it out 🤞
@@LarcsWorkshop Thankyou.I may just try fit them myself on the road outside my house.Autodoc is beating local parts shops on quality and price.
@@safdarrizvi9885 . AutoDoc is often very good on price, you've just got to wait a bit for delivery 👍
I love a shocking good episode!🎉
🤣 thanks Fred👍
Thanks for the info, very useful 👍 😀 👌 🙂 😊
Thanks, no problems 👍
I attempted this job this evening on the roadside.I got the shock absorber off but was unable to remove the shock from the mount as i dont have the tools. The shock absorber has lost all its oil and compresses with minimal effort.Totally caput.I will remove the shock absorber as soon as and take it to my mates garage and borrow his tools and vice.
@@safdarrizvi9885 Good luck sorting it out 🤞
