There is no way you can introduce Hugh Ross to the real world that surrounds him. He is fully committed to his fairy tales.

I would really like to hear Dr Ross talk about the talking serpent in the garden.
The new testament has a talking donkey, is that similar?

Would like to ask Dr. Hugh a question.
In Genesis, Chapter 7, Verse 19 and 20, it says clearly that the whole earth was covered by the flood.
This contradicts what you mentioned ?

These makes sense with the claim of genesis apologetics.

Well, the reason why the bible put emphasis on the word "world" instead of "globe" is because the writers of the old testament did not even know the earth was global. Ariostotle discovered the earth is round during 300-400 BC while the old testament was written in 500 BC or earlier. There is not even a single reference to the word "globe" in the old testament, so how can one make a conclusion that the word "world" does not actually mean the entirety of the earth if the bible did not even mention if the world is global. Show me a verse that states that the earth is "spherical". One example is allegedly Isaiah 40:22 which says "He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in." They say this is evidence that the writers knew that shape of the earth is "spherical", but it refers more to a flat earth than a spherical earth because in the flat earth model, the world is a plate hanging in space so it makes sense to say the phrase "above the CIRCLE of the earth." Stop kidding yourselves that the writers of the old testament are not flat earth believers.

Circles don’t have corners, if you’re going to add that the Bible mentions flat earth then there would be a whole bunch of contradictions since flat earthers don’t know what figure of speech is.

@@noobsaibot5285 OK, here's an interesting one: Where did Jesus ascend _to_?
We have countless accounts and works of art that mention the ascension. Jesus is always going "up". But "up" to where? The upper ionosphere? Mars?
Where, exactly _is_ heaven? Where ever it is, the creeds and the scriptures say Jesus ascended to it. Nicene creed says: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
Not dematerialized, Start Trek transporter style. No he _rose_ from the dead and _ascended_ into heaven. Somewhere. The straightforward reading is that Jesus rose just about the "firmament". You know, that ill-defined thing just below heaven?
Sure looks flat-earth adjacent at the very least.
Somehow, this problem just isn't discussed in polite company.
