Guys you have to keep constant hard pressure on the shackle while setting the code. It will latch in place when in position but still has some play to go down.

It's not working for me, I can change the numbers while it's pressed in to the notch, but when I change to a number other than the original combo, (000) I can't pull it back out. Any way you think I could solve this?
Actually when you push in the barrel. Turn it clockwise. Then you can change the combination. When done turn it back. You don’t have to hold the barrel down while you change the combo.
Turn the latch another 90° (so it is 180° away from the locked position) then enter your new code. Finally turn the latch back to the original position and you’ll be set.

I really like that it has a twisting lock feature to keep out dirt and debris. However, the mounting system is much too light for the lock, and continues to get loose/move around. It's mostly made of plastic parts, and I've had to tighten it a few times in the past week or so that I've had it. I'm worried that it's going to break off at some point while I'm riding. I'm considering just scrapping that part, but that would mean having to carry the heavy lock i my backpack and adding more weight. I wish I could have given this more stars, but without the mounting system, it's just another heavy lock that I have to cart around. UPDATE: Increased rating to 5 stars because the seller offered to provide a new lock and mounting system. Really appreciate the attention to customer service!!

I couldn't get the code I wanted to work so I tried "000" to test and that worked. Then I tried my code again and it won't work. Even after watching this tutorial, I still can't manage to do it.
With a TSA-approved luggage lock, the TSA will have a universal key to open the lock to check your bag and then re-lock it to ensure it remains secured. If security can't get into your bags it's a huge mess!!
This was a while ago but something he didn’t explain in the video was the second notch that is at the end of the padlock. He explained that turn the shackle once, press it down, and set the combination. But in order to change it, you turn it again to the second notch at the end, BUT in order to do THAT, you have to press it down a bit harder, more pressure. It’ll eventually give and you can turn it while it’s held down. When it’s like that, you can set the new combo and turn the shackle back around.
@@T-RexKicksStumps I’ve done all the steps multiple times. I set my code, and can’t pull it back to original position to lock it. I have to return it to 000

There are only 1000 combinations to try. This lock you can keep tension on it and it will pop open when you hit the right combo.
