What I did was putting my lock upside down and press it againts my bed while trying this, choosing the number that felt more loose and suddenly it closed 🙌 Thank you so much for this tip!! Okay, just got home and found TSA had opened bags (2), with the same locks you are showing. never had this problem before, but 1 bag had a cable tie, no lock, I found lock still open in case, but with claps down off the lock position and wont open with the combination. Second case wont open with the combination either. Both have little red indicators that are raised? tried you suggestion but no luck. Clues?
Brad Donovan haven’t heard of this happening but on my channel i have videos that might help open the luggage other than that it might have been TSA messed up your locks. Hopefully not though, i hope my videos may help, best of luck!
I know this is a bit late. First, you know how some padlocks will not let you remove a key unless it is in the locked position. When this is true it means that the lock is key retaining. But in the case with your TSA lock, it may not be key retaining. Meaning that the TSA may have used their master key to open your lock without ever closing it again. If this is the case you would have to either get the right TSA key or pick the lock, which isn't too hard to do.
