I don't understand the name of it. I got a sample of it sent with an order for free. I didn't request it so, but I was intrigued because what people were saying about it. When I put it on, it was sort of like that "Where's the beef", but here, where was the smoke. I love smokey fragrances, so I was a bit disappointed. That said, I don't dislike it, it's just I've smelled a couple others like it. The one that's very similar I don't remember the name, but I still have an empty sample somewhere. I'll let you know when after I go through my samples. I have a decant of this cherry one. House of Sillage No 1. Between the two, definitely Rouge Smoking. Great having you back brother... I just so happen to pick up a Cherry fragrance recently called Khaltat Night EDP by Attar Collection... A surprisingly interesting take on Cherry. ✌🏻🙏
8 out of 10! That's a high score. I wasn't as keen on it as you, but I love that you spoke about labdanum. Labdanum is one of my favorite substances, with all its qualities...resinous, leathery, slightly ambery. I just love it. I was lucky enough to track down a vintage bottle of Donna Karan Labdanum Essence, and it didn't disappoint. Wenge also another great DK.
Considering the impression, I almost felt you would give it a 7, but an 8 is great. I own RS and it is a solid scent from the house, one of the best along with Gris Charnel (which honestly is like a niche version of YSL La Nuit de L'Homme to my nose, but I love it more than La Nuit). At first, a long time ago, I also got a sample from LuckyScent and thought RS was a like a slightly sweet and powdery "cherry play-doh" and I wasn't impressed, but later I found a killer deal on it through a discounter and picked it up...and you know what? It is fantastic now under a greater volume and I like it much more in its vanilla, tonka, and labdanum presentation! I feel that the comparison to Lost Cherry was a bit unfair given the massive difference of quality, price points, and accessibility, but you had to go with what you knew, so I get it. Awesome impressions overall, Marc! I'd go with Gris Charnel, Creme de Cuir, or Tabac Rose as next samples to try from the house, once you get the chance.
My wife loves cherry fragrances, I've gotten her TF lost cherry, it was rather fleeting and recently I got her Aaron terence hughes raw cherry 🍒. That is the best cherry fragrances I have smelled to date. But I haven't smelled this one yet. Cherry punk is good too!
Marc, I honestly sampled a few but their nonstop free bottle campaign (where every influencer fragrance person reviewed this one within a day of each other with like a script and same photo) turned me off the brand, rightly or wrongly.
BDK parfums’ catalogue strikes me as very spread all about and I don’t really sense an identity from this brand. Much rather give my money to brands with a little more cohesion than these “large niche brands”. Maybe not Nishane because at least with them there’s a sense of “turkishness” in a lot of their scents

I'd give this scent a 9 out of 10 I love it. House of Silage #1 is a cherry scent and it is a 10 out of 10 for me, love at first sniff.
9! Wow! HOS is a brand I do need to sniff more from.

I like the smell of Cherry. However It comes across feminine off my skin. I gave my bottle of TF LC to my wife, and it smells divine on her.

Odd I look for cherry and am somewhat frugal. You didn't mention price but let me assume 80 percent performance 40 percent price of T.F. no contest.
I prefer the TF, the scent themselves are not comparable.
