Every time i watch this it brings back memories of working with her in North Wildwood Nj she was the best and she was such a natural and a rare beauty inside and out
WOW... can't believe this lady didn't make it big. It's something when a lady singer can sing as good as she looks, and she looks incredible! Of course the style of music that was becoming popular then was considerably different, and public tastes were shifting from talented singers to the psychedelic drug-influenced and politic-influenced brand of rock 'n' roll.
Jackie is part of my family tree on the Koffarnus side. I think she is my grandpa's cousin. I should ask my grandma to send me pictures of her in the family album :)
My family knew her and her family. January Jones was her stage name. Her real name, Jackie (Jacqueline) Allison of La Puente, California, graduate of La Puente High School. Great lady, great talent.
+Rebecca Lowe Hi, My wife, previous name Linda Adams, was a high school friend of Jacqueline. They both lived in La Puente. They rode horses together in local competitions. My wife is hoping to get back in touch with her. Mark Dowling, my wife is Linda Dowling.
@@markdowling5000 Hi Mark, its nice to hear your wife was a friend of JJ in high school. She may be interested to hear that the school theater was dedicated to their long time drama teacher in 1990, some 3 decades after she graduated. JJ was in attendance in the ceremony and she paid homage to her drama teacher and the theater program, adding that it had a lot to do with her later success as a singer. She had a singing role in the school play, "Okalahoma", as well as other events.
Seriously, do you really know her? I used to have one of these machine a few years ago and I had all 4 of her films, they are ALL great! I'd love to know what she's up to now! I'll keep an eye out here and maybe we can get in touch.
@Wellveryinteresting No, I'm pretty sure she and the other girls are 100% natural. Those kind of surgical procedures were still pretty cost-prohibitive in the mid-1960's, plus there was something of a health kick fad going on about that time. Remember that this is the MID-1960's, the height of popularity of The Beach Boys, Annette Funicello and beach movies, Gidget, etc. Everybody wanted to look good in a bathing suit, and people just exercised and ate right more often.

I see comments that JJ performed at Cozy Morley's in North Wildwood, NJ. Indeed she did - in mid Jul 1975 when she was making her comeback.
Wow... nice abs indeed!

@@edwardhoward3931 Hello, is there any way to Linda to get in touch with her?
@@markdowling5000 Mark, sorry but I cannot post her contact info on public forum.
I'm pretty sure these ladies were all natural! LOL! These women were seriously stacked! Is January still performing? She looks like a great gal!
@gomezparkinson Yes, her resemblance to Margaret Whiting is uncanny! (there we go, showin' our ages again!)
Those ratted hairdos were so popular in the mid-60's. They creeped me out, because they were so stiff with hairspray.

Did the January Jones form MadMen steal this girl's name?
The "Mad Men" actress' name had been January Jones from birth; however, there is no evidence she was named after this January Jones.
Gee! Where does David Lynch get his ideas?!
