Ever since I saw the last video, I said, “I’m buying Adam’s as soon as my 5-gallon of Brake Buster finishes.” This video solidified that. Thanks man! Can’t wait for the next comparison…
@@SpartanKyuubi Agreed. I've used the heavy duty wheel cleaner for years and it works it's magic. Nothing against the Adam's because it's really good, but you should give the heavy duty from Griot's a shot. It definitely eats away at the brake dust immediately like the Adam's had shown.
Griot's Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner - great smelling product but Griot's forte definitely isn't their wheel cleaners in terms of cleaning ability Griot's Wheel Cleaner (used here) - seems like an all purpose cleaner diluted 4:1 Adam's Tire and Rubber - solid performance here. Adams looks like it did a really nice job. I am definitely going to buy some of that and give it a try for myself. Adams' has been knocking it out of the park lately with your testing of products! Good value and great results with Adams! Loved the intro to your video also Jeremy! Thanks for taking the time to post these great videos and product reviews.
Thanks for watching them. I have fun making them. The intro cracked me up so I put it on there. Adam’s has some good stuff. You already know my 2 favorites. Hahaha.
Nice video and great work. Just to add on the application of the Sonax, you have to spray it directly on the dry rim and let it sit for 2-3minutes before agitating with the brush and the result will be much better on 1 pass compare to wetting the rim. It gives best result when it's being apply on a dry rim and that's where the magic.
Forensic detail did a video showing treating with chemical before rinsing did a better job than pre rinsing first. It’d be interesting to see this comparison without the pre rinse.
Yeah. I like to blow off all the big stuff first. It comes down to personal preference. Pre rinsing does effectively dilute the product and will also stick less to the paint but you have to pick your battles. I want the big chunky stuff gone with the PW. Thanks for watching
I have never used Adams, but did used Meguiars non acid wheel and tire cleaner today with awesome results. My wheels and tires are never too far gone though.

So true. People dont read labels. And complain it doesn't work. I am Shure Adams would win even with correct application. But non the less. Disappointing.... I've used both. The Megs is good for the price and availability but it's not as good as Adams. I would give Megs a C. Adams an A. And P&S Brake Buster a B.
My favorite wheel cleaner that hasn’t let me down is that newer company Exoforma Wheel and Tire Cleaner. I bet it will give Adams a run for their money. It’s an amazing wheel cleaner. It’s all I use now in my detailing business.
Griot’s Heavy Duty is flat-out great, same with Koch Chemie Magic Wheel Cleaner. P&S Brake Buster is geared more for the professional detailer, it delivers consistently good results, not GREAT results, at a fraction of what one might spend on Griot’s, Koch Chemie or Sonax. For us guys putting forth the time and effort to get our personal cars dialed TF in, it doesn’t matter if we spend the money for an ultra premium product. On the other hand, a guy who is detailing 3 regular traffic pieces a day, six days a week, and trying to be competitive, P&S might be the way to go. Those ultra premium price tags will eat up a businesses’ bottom line about as quick as Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner will dissolve years of baked on brake dust.
You should try Griots Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner. A lot more cleaning power than the regular wheel cleaner plus it doubles as an iron remover. Just a Suggestion :)
Adams is similar to Meguiar's Non-Acid Wheel & Tire Cleaner. I personally use Meguiar's because it works for me and I don't feel the need to change. You should try it some time
I just finished my 3rd gallon of BB. I am going to have to order a couple gallons of the Adams wheel & tire cleaner for wheels that have not been regularly maintained. Have you tried cutting Adams 50/50 for wheels/tires that are not as dirty?
Yeah it’s really good. I personally think it’s best to use the pressure washer to remove as much of the dirt and brake dust as possible. If not you are agitating into the clear coat brake dust and dirt that could have been rinsed off. Next I follow with the cleaner. Get great results every time. Thanks for watching

If y really want to do the best u can, spray cleaner first, let dwell and brake down debris, rinse without agitation. This will get all the loose stuff off and a bit more. Now, spray some more cleaner and clean like normal then rinse. This is the safest way but takes longer and uses more product.

Then let the mixture sit for 1 minute then spray again for another minute to keep it wet on the surfaces longer . Dollar store bristle brush on the tires. Clean rim, rinse.
