That's all for this Week...Thank you for watching.
Can we just appreciate omega puts effort into their boxes as well as the watch.
You can say that about Rolex mate. With a basic movement for all they re watches. Omega is in other league of the real deal on facts x
This was my grail watch, and I was lucky enough to get one a couple of years ago.
To me, it’s one of the most beautiful watches ever made. I love mine.
I guess it's nice to know that if we are able to travel to the moon in the next 20 or 30 years that you'll be (stylishly) prepared for the trip.
i love it. Both omegas speedy and seamster are my grails(apart from an rm but thats unrealcheable haha). Both are so intense... the speedy with its classyiness and the seamaster with its modern design standarts and its new technique
I hope to get one soon this year !
@@finng1571 did you get the paperweight that's in the video?
This whole channel is just a giant flex... And I absolutely love it
Go on
Pretty much my thoughts bout it
First watch I have ever bought, got it for my dad's 50th anniversary.
One of the most special packages for sure!
My lifelong friend gave me 1 of these fior my 50th birthday... a true friend indeed... he has also has the dark side if the moon version It’s awesome
Now that is pure quality... I bought some watches online and my first impression was junk... but this is amazing. Just the unboxing is pure quality and customers service expenses at no costs.
looking to buy my first luxury watch. Was really torn between the breitling super ocean and the oris chronoris until I saw the omega speedmaster. So in love
I would love to see some more vlogs of you buying a watch! From the whole day and how you buy the watch. It would also be great if you get us some insights how you can afford these watches and how you got to love watches, what was your first watch experience and so on! Thanks for the amazing videos!
Thanks for the history lesson, I love my speedmasters even more now
Great review.Been mulling over this model for months,it arrived today.Absolutely love it.
Just got the new one today. The one with the 3861 movement. Simply stunning!!!
I saw the one Jim Lovell wore on Apollo 13 at the Chicago planetarium last month. Its an amazing time piece! One of my favorite watches
I had a conversation with Cmdr. Lovell about the Speedmaster over dinner once (among other topics). He didn't dislike the piece but preferred his Rolex, which he was wearing while we spoke. He specifically wasn't a fan of the manual wind, though since an auto won't wind in zero-g the mechanical movement was really the only solution. If you're wondering: yes, he is a very interesting and nice man to spend time with.
Keep up the good work..
From Africa, Kenya always love your videos 👌🏾
Wow, a great review on the watch I always wanted to own, and even more so now. Thank you.
They really beefed up their booklets and boxes. 5-year warranty, sweet.
Saving for this beauty, hope I can make it in one year!
LOVE the back of this version.
Beautiful, iconic Omega-watch!👍🏻 Awesome!
I am very glad to see you doing this unboxing! Having the Speedy Tuesday and the Ultraman could be fantastic, but the Original Moonwatch with hesalite glass is a true icon of watchmaking. It could be less expensive than any other watch you have, but in importance, maybe is one of the greatest watches you have!
I bought a Omega Moonwatch yesterday and i'm so in love with it! Highly recommend the investment!
I love watching your videos. They are very well made and fun as well as educational to watch. keep up the good work!
This is watch gives you the ultimate unboxing experience!
VERY well done. Thank you! I have the Moonwatch but it did not come packaged and accessorized like this. Totally awesome.
the 50th anniversary edition did, it least ours did.
4K baby, yeah. Nice photography. Thanks.
I love watching you explore your passion. :)
What a beautiful time piece with a provenance which cannot be topped. As Buzz Aldrin is one of my heroes, the picture showing him wearing the NASA Space Flight Approved Speedmaster is very special to me. I have seen other pictures of Astronauts, on the moon, wearing a beautiful Chronograph that looked every bit as precision as all of their flight equipment and I have always wondered exactly what it was. Thank You for your beautiful presentation and history of this horological specimen of ultimate precision.
I’ve had my Speedmaster for a year now. I adore it!
Oooo I got myself my first luxury watches this year, couple of grand seikos. I've set my eyes on this next!! I love that you have a review thanks
Omg i Love you!!! You have the exact same taste of watches I have! Unwanted for a 4K review of exactly that watch, can you read my mind? 😂
I‘ve got a Moonwatch as well. I prefer the Hesalit over the Saphire because the glass itself is less „milky“ (white) on the edges. It has such a clean look, even after 1 1/2 Years!
Great Review!!
Just woke up and saw your upload, today's a good day 😊
Another great review keep them coming .👍🏽
I'm so excited for this 😍
Pure class. Another addition to probably my favourite watch enthusiasts collection! 👍🏻🕶
Thanks to this video I am now awaiting delivery of my Moonwatch!!!
Hesalite for sure! Thanks for the video. Very exciting.
Dave Scott was among three crew members aboard the Apollo 15 in 1971 - just two years following the first and most famous lunar mission of 1969. After a second round of NASA trials for watch candidates, the Speedmaster was selected again and issued to all astronauts. The crew was allowed to bring some personal effects, however, and it’s well established that Scott wore his Bulova-provided backup watch on the Moon after the crystal popped off his issued Speedmaster.
Amazing Review! Your channel is amazing.
I really enjoyed the review and i love the watch it's epic
actually I never thought about buying the Speedmaster, but the price is actually quite low for the history it represents and the quality you get for it.
Probably you brought a new customer to Omega. ;)
Baloney. A new Speedmaster cost $225 in 1973. Adjusting for inflation, it should be a $1300 watch today. Omega prices are now inflated beyond all reason.
Omega is really a bang for the buck. The movement and finishing is a good as Rolex and cheaper by 30%. Rolex only wins in the recognition category, the rest are the same in my opinion.
@@jshepard152 you ever heard of rolex?
@@jshepard152 Salaries also varied over time.
J Shepard - you’re literally too stupid to bother explaining everything to.
Picking up mine today, cant wait
Love this one ! still saving to buy this :)
Very well presented Omega watch and extras, you certainly get a lot for your money when you purchase this. Great video content, Well done Sir!!!!!
Very good unboxing , I watched your unboxing of the yacht master 1 before choosing it and I am delighted ! i will definitely take the moonwatch but in sapphire sandwich :)
Nice review - thanks. You can use any chronograph to track a 2nd time zone. Just start the stopwatch function at noon in the 2nd time zone (using your mobile phone, say) and then simply read the hours off the bottom dial. (minutes are the same in both time zones).
Nice watch. Watching this whilst wearing my late father’s Timex with ‘Made in England’ on the dial.
I was looking at the watch thinking to myself wow....and then you peeled the stickers off....my jaw dropped !
I’m getting mines next week! I can’t wait any longer!
Sentinel_ 17 - Mines? Be careful not to tread on ‘em my friend. BOOM!💥
My holy grail! One day! one day I'll get my own. Great video by the way!
Been watching your reviews for a while and enjoy them. That said, you need more Rolex books. ;)
Hoping one day to unbox this Omega Speedmaster 😍... Totally one day my grail watch at my wrist 😆
It's on my bucket list of purchases!
You honestly should celebrate the unboxing of it more! I mean the box itself is awesome
Cool video
Love the watches which spend time with historical moment
Very professional...good watch
Fantastic video as always. Your video convinced me to buy one. The speedie is now my most worn watch after I swapped the bracelet for a black sailcloth.
The box is amazing, especially the watch. Thank you for this video
One of the best watch presentations in the business.
Super video by the way - thank you. A Speedy Pro is next on the list...! 🙂
Lovely watch.. it's a keeper! Because they have at the current time discontinued the speedmaster and now currently remodelling a new version..
Amazing watch!! My dream...
Didn't know they extended the warranty for the newer models!
Hopefully I will get mine around the upcoming summer.
scotland here, this is my next watch!
Finally a watch I own ;-) The hessalite is the one to have indeed.
I will never miss your video.
Love your vloggs keep them up
Very impressed!!! I always wanted a Rolex, but this watch means something I’ll start my savings for my omega I love the design
Rolex is for skiller , but a Omega is a watch for a real gentleman
These really aren't even that expensive if you go for a used one. You can buy one of these for around the used Datejust price.
Stick with Rolex. Omega quality is terrible, as bad as their service. They ruined my watch.
@@vitaboost Oh first. Its the First time i heard that. For this Price its a no go. The quality has to be Perfecty. But with a rolex you never do a wrong decision
@@katzenstreu9726 wrong! even with rolex you have this problems........
What a gorgeous watch and very nice presentation 😀
Due to my lifestyle it's just not the watch for me but... It is the one watch that just doesn't fit for me but that I would love to have! I rarely drool over other watches, happy with my 2... but this one always makes me smile. Congrats. Speedmaster!
That is one beautiful watch😍😍
Just love this watch
Stunning. I have to say I've had both the pro and reduced, and personally I prefer the reduced (hesalite version of course).
dylan vasey what size wrists and why the reduced?
@@zachscheel3784 I have seven and half inch wrists so can wear either watch. The dimensions of the reduced are better for me personally, the movement is obviously automatic in a reduced whereas its manual in the Pro (although you can most certainly argue that the Pro has the superior movement), and lastly the price.
Mostly it's the dimensions though. If you like big watches then the Pro is for you, but I quite like having something that slips under most cuffs.
@@dylvasey Thanks for your reply. I like the look of the pro far more than the reduced however I am limited with 6.5 inch wrists and don't want to force the situation. Will be stopping by a jeweler this week to get a really good comparison side-by-side. The price discount is nice, with the reduced, as well
@@zachscheel3784 I have the Pro at the moment and I can honestly say it fits my wrist, but I can't see it fitting anything smaller (sorry!). That said the 38mm (or is it 39mm? Can't remember) of the Reduced I think will fit you perfectly. If you can try both on you'll know for sure. But don't think the Reduced is a lesser watch. If it fits you better and saves you money ...... win win! I'm jealous that you'll get to have it on your wrist for the first time!
@@zachscheel3784 Actually I'm interested. What makes you like the look of the Pro more than the Reduced?
I wind my manual watches 15 turns and never wind them fully in case the spring gets stressed. I like the Omega over the Rolex Sub.
Thanks for the unboxing. I suppose that, for the purposes of tradition, owning the official Moonwatch in Hesalite is the way to go.
I chose the crystal sapphire. It's just much prettier.
I have hesilite and it looks unique. Like looking at the dial through liquid. The only way to go
Any speedmaster is cool but what you can afford and like.dont worry what others think
At 4:10 Wally Schirra is not the "first astronaut to ever orbit the earth." Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin has that honor.
Wally Schirra wasn't even the first American to orbit the Earth... John Glenn is pretty darn famous, sort of a weird mistake to make.
he got it wrong. the book states that he was the first person wearing a speedmaster to orbit the earth
@@maciejknap6284 Yes. let's cut the guy some slack; shall we?
And he probably wore a Vostok or something similar
@@ChapeauRouge921 He wore a Sturmanski with Poljot movement watch, which he received when he graduated as a fighter pilot. 😊
I love it i prefer this model. I appréciate manual winding
I am in love of this watch! I do want to own an omega at one point
Going to an omega AD tomorrow and hopefully pick one up ;)
I get a kick how everyone forgets to mention Michael Collins when talking about Apollo 11. Poor guy, left in the command module all by himself ... lol
I've owned the Speedmaster Professional 2 times now and I'm looking at buying it for a third time again. It is such a special watch and I'm also big history buff when it comes to early space race (i.e. Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions), so I have a certain soft spot for this watch.
such a soft spot for this watch that you sold it TWO times already?!?!?!... YEAH SURE
B M talk to any Speedmaster owner and I bet they’ve all owned it multiple times. It’s quite possibly the easiest watch to reacquire because they are everywhere on the used market. Unless it has sentimental value, pretty easy to let it go to switch your collection up. But yeah, SURE!
Amazing watch👍
I can’t believe I’m watching an unboxing of a watch I already own. Love this channel
haha same here..
Was that your way of saying you own an Omega without flexing? If it was....then right on partner.😂👌
Its Just Brit Nope. I just love this channel!
@@redbird963 I was just teasing you. Hard to tell through the screen aye? Lol
redbird963 mate if you don’t mind can you share the price? Looking to buy one in between this and a Rolex datejust 41 thanks 👍🏻
Can’t wait to get mine. I got the new Rolex Day-Date and love it. Just about a month from now God willing I’ll have my Speedmaster
Congrats, yes a Speedy hesalyte manual is an absolute must have. If you have a 321 Speedy and a 5513 maxi dial Sub, then you have a super collection basis and can buy more around that. The Speedy and the Sub are the 2 absolute icons.
I liked it a hesalite version is the real deal not so practical but as a lot of charm, keep up the good work, and enjoy you're great watch greetings from Portugal
Stunning
Beautiful !👌🏼👍🏼
Please do a Full review of this watch soon !
Very good!
I love this watch with a Leather Strap
Omg love it!
This is an awesome channel.... =)
What a beauty of a watch
gave it to a family member you say...
Just so everyone is aware, London Watch Collector and I are cousins. Really good cousins.
Probably the coolest damn watch money can buy. Awesome.
Hesalite of course with the ingraving on the back.
It's nice with a saphire back to see the movement but the one in the video goes with history as it was worn to the moon.
Congrats awesome watch
Just bought the sapphire sandwich watch as you call it and i love it,
Absolute stunning watch ⌚👌😍
Nice review, I have the spphire version because it’s have open case back so Ican enjoy watching the movement
i love the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch
