      I would not exclude him going to the 76ers (and I would not want him to go to the Lakers), especially now that reality hit them really hard against the Celtics, tanking does not work to build a winning team, all that it does is build a losing mentality, without Kawhi the Spurs won't beat the Warriors with Lebron and a bunch of nearly retired players
      ps: the Rockets? things are working out with Harden and CP3 because they are smart players, I doubt that J.Harden would like to work with Lebron knowing how egocentric he is and how nothing will stop him from painting a target on a teammates back for the media with his constant complaints as if he owns the team, while CP3 understood this is HARDEN'S team and his there to help as the 2nd in command

      For Russ especially, I think J-Kidd would be perfect to show him how to slow the game down and ultimately control the tempo.

      There would definitely be a lot of tension between him and Russ though. If Russ can listen and learn that would be🔥

    • @walterrobinson5487
      @walterrobinson5487 6 років тому +1

      Fela Dodd There may be tension but Kidd has enough fortitude and gaul to get the job done. Not only from a players perspective but also as a coach. He wont be in all of Westbrook, and he would stand up to Russ and anyone else.

    I agree with Kenyon Martin, Lebron would hurt more than help the Lakers development UNLESS he agrees to let Lonzo lead, the same way PG would not be a good match to the Lakers since what they need in a older player is someone that, when needed, will call out to his teammates and lead by example, it became obvious at OKC that he does not have that in him otherwise he would take over from Russel when things started to go really wrong

      I have been saying that LeBron would stunt the young Lakers growth. The Lakers are wayyy more than a spot up shooting team and they have a bright future. Besides if you take the ball out of Lonzo's hands, what else is he going to do?

    Something BIG is coming this postseason for Lebron. He's playing very hard for a person "unsure" or that doesn't have a plan. In my gut I feel like Kawahi or PG or both will end up in Cleveland or all 3 with the Lakers. He's playing like a man with a future in sight.

    • @levelazn
      @levelazn 6 років тому +36

      so lin is stealing culture by wearing dreads and should be critiqued? but it's ok for kenyon to rock a chinese tattoo when he doesn't speak a word of chinese? You understand the issue right? if not you just talking for the sake of talking

    • @BruceKendallMartinJr
      @BruceKendallMartinJr 6 років тому

      Ruoyu Li the issue was professionalism not culture appropriation...u r mixing arguments...the chinese tats on non chinese speakers is also appropriation...i never said it wasnt...what does that have to do with dressing professionally which is what the op is about?

    • @levelazn
      @levelazn 6 років тому +11

      professionalism = culture. being responsible about what you say and do. Not just how you dress. Kenyon is a hypocrite when he speaks about veteran leadership when he exhibit zero accountability himself.

    The reason LeBron is leaving Cleveland is because the media is forcing it to happen. The more the media talks about it, the more a player is pressured to leave a city behind to try and form a super team elsewhere or throw a superstar into a larger market. It would be a slap in the face to the citizens of Cleveland if LeBron takes his talents elsewhere again. Why must we force the issue?

    • @TheGeorgeD13
      @TheGeorgeD13 6 років тому

      Lebron doesn't do things because of the media. EVER.

    • @TalkinnGrubbinMedia
      @TalkinnGrubbinMedia 6 років тому +1

      tortuga43 Far as I know, LeBron never did anything because of the media. But, I do agree that the media is pushing hard for LeBron to leave Cleveland they've been forcing it ever since the regular season. If you didn't know any better; you would've thought that the Raptors swept the Cavs instead of the other way around. Matter of fact, a lot of them said that the Cavs wouldn't get past the Raptors: "The Raptors have the deeper bench", "They're not the same ol' Raptors, they're the #1 seed in the East and they have homecourt", "The Cavs struggled to beat the Pacers so they'll be tired, Toronto will be more rested so they'll finally get past the Cavs."
      Instead of talking about the Cavs chances to get back to The Finals, they're talking about where LeBron should go next season. Unreal. The fans of Cleveland are enjoying a deep playoff run and not worried about what's gonna happen in July. People like Colin push for LeBron in L.A. because he lives in L.A. also some of the national media hate the fact that they had to come to Cleveland for The NBA Finals in June the last 3 years IMO. TBH, I don't think LeBron knows what he's going to do.

    Lebron to knicks theory: Lebron signs with knicks, melo opts out and returns to new york for min salary, chris paul goes to the knicks, porzigus whos on a rookie contract, and hardaway jr. as young shooting guard.
    Westbrook to Cleveland: If you go back to the allstar game lebron and westbrook talked about playing with each other. plus when there on the court at the same time its dynamic.

    Wherever Lebron goes expect it to be a surprise, no one called Miami in 2010 and then no one expected him to return to Cleveland in 2014. I'd be very surprised if he goes to the lakers or Philly.

    • @mr.sunrise3933
      @mr.sunrise3933 6 років тому

      yes, people thought he would return. I did, when he went to miami. Because he still did charity work there, and also the black prideful mentality of wanting to rep our city. No way was he not going to win one for cleveland being from there and drafted there, its different if he was drafted elsewhere, but Lebrons story, He was always going back. easy call

      Sunrise Some people thought he would return but the majority thought he wouldn't return to Cleveland because of Dan Gilbert's letter and the fans burning his jerseys. Also, they thought he'd never leave a potential dynasty and Pat Riley for Cleveland that had the worst record in the league while he was gone.

    Is it just me or is Kenyon Martin more of an tough guy/eye candy piece for these shows but not really anything of substance coming out of his mouth? Captain Jack gives a lot more insight and behind the scenes of his experience.

    Will lebron deminish westbrook? Can Westbrook be too much for lebron?

  • @Sole-Survivor
    @Sole-Survivor 6 років тому

    Colin has it all wrong! Lebron's next team will be the one with the best front office and commitment to winning. Also to the point of some of the players not really caring about winning, the same is true of ownership. 90% of NBA sports teams aren't really committed to winning, it is all about the bottom line. For every Joe Lacob, there is 20 Michael Jordans.

    Why are you comparing Westbrook to Lebron? Two different players two different styles it’s like comparing a contact hitter to a power hitter it’s two different approaches to the game. That’s what’s wrong with basketball fans you compare to much just enjoy the player stop trynna compare somebody to another person it’s pathetic

    Y'all acting like LeVron is the only player, or even max player that left his team. He had every right. Shaq left and y'all ain't give him stuff, Nique Left, Clyde left, Wade left, Bosh left. People leave their teams, and if you can...then why not. A player has every right, just like coaches have every right to make a trade...it's what's best for them

    Colin is a west coast dude, he'll never get it. LeBron was born and raised in Akron, his wife was born and raised in Akron. They're surrounded by family here. He's going to be 34 years old, his kids are getting ready to enter high school. There's no place like home, and LeBron isn't going anywhere...

    LeBron cannot win a Championship by himself, and he's fully aware of it. There will be NO more Cavs miracles. He'll shut down all his 'main engines' and just go through the motions against the Celtics - 'the King has left the building'. Even if the Cavs wins the Eastern Conf, he knows they cannot beat the Warriors - with his unpredictable supporting cast. He'll move to a team that is an instant contender next season. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard will determine where he finally signs, and it could be the team that sees him through to his retirement. So far the Sixers look like the best option because Pop will not trade Kawhi to a Western Conf team. A good Eastern Conf team against a good Western Conf team will also be a lot better for TV ratings.
