you would think an event like Sturgis catering to motorcycle enthusiast that they could build a real race track you guys deserve it so fans can see how awesome flat track racing truly is and one more thing here while i am on the soap box flat track racers deserve way more purse money.

Ya i think def less psi, higher seemed better early but mighta hurt me. I did have to add teeth to get it to jump off the corner in second gear though.

That was a convoluted track to say the least, it looked like there was no flow to the course and that just about makes it a mess to ride. Loved your effort, keep Slamming!

What they used to call super bike race back in the day.
I'm old enough to remember the 'Super Bikers', on ABC...... I think.
Everyone on CR-500's, KX's, YZ's, etc.
I still have the '82 Dirt Bike calender on the wall opened to the month that has Steve Wise power wheelieing his CR-500 with flat track tires on the road course of said race.
That bike was STUD. The factorys were really into it back then.

@@joeblow5037 It's all in the tires. This Sturgis event showed the possibilities IF the supermoto guys reverted to dirt track spec tires OR even better get the AMA TT guys on a proper outdoor hybrid track.
My favorite sturgis track was the buffalochip TT. Thought that was the coolest ever to be racing around a bar.
