With the advancement with technology and fishing techniques, there is so much exciting prospects for landbased angling. I am now closer to 70 then 60 and due to some physical ailments are unable to enjoy many of the types of angling you do….but what I can do is learn new “tricks” to adopt when I am near the water…..Thankyou for your very informative, instructional and enjoyable productions. Keep up the good work Liam.
@@LiamFitzpatrick yeah, wish that wind would bugger off.. couldn't get onto the lake this weekend to try for bass, And couldn't fish the river because of all the freshwater and debris floating down.. Sigh. Praying for a good weekend soon 🤞🤞
nice reading of the situation with the bigger female flatty and the smaller dogs around her, absolutely love this remote-ish stuff, so much more adventurous and raw than fishing the usual easy to get to spots in my opinion, great vid👍👍
G'day Liam, that was a chunky girl indeed, in feb this year I caught my PB flattie of 78cm at lake tyers on a 1-4kg Daiwa 20 infeet EX with 6lb braid 8lb leader, it was a good 15 minute fight and then had to drag her along the side of the jetty back to the shore as I left my net in the car, caught her on a Daiwa suspending double clutch 75mm in 30cm of water and only 1m from the shore. keep the fantastic coming mate, Cheers.
Daiwa Hyper 7 foot 1.5-3kg mate. Good for my light plastic work up to that 1/4oz weight. Still a bream rod really but it’s fine for average size stuff.
Fun solo sesh doesn't go a stray.. 👍🏼 content. The type of vids that get pple interested, interested again & gear spec for startUP. Ekkas coming. It'll get worse before warms up
Love your videos mate as always another awesome video. 👌👌. Man I would really love to go out kayak fishing for flatheads with you. That would be awesome mate…
@@LiamFitzpatrick At what point does bread become toast?? Is it merely the act of putting it in the toaster? Is there are a colour definition somewhere on the scale of white to incrementally more brown to black that defines a toasted state? Is warm bread actually just a weak form of toast? Or is toast simply an unnecessarily confusing word that we use to describe cooked bread out of convenience?
