Hi! Yes, this is one of the techniques established by Glenn Doman at the Institute for the Achievement of Human Potential. In my book, "Whole Child Reading", I give credit to him, as I always do in my lectures and workshops. I also promote the work of his nephew Bob Doman in founding the National Association for Child Development/NACD. I defend those origins against folks who claim to have made it up themselves. Many years ago, I simply gave it the moniker "Fast Flash." The Doman Method encompasses more than just this one technique. That's why my blurb under the video references it as a "Right Hemisphere Learning" technique. Doman, Dr. Shichida, and the Heguru Method in Japan all work along the same lines.
