Wow!! Really looks great, that sling flipper is multi-functional, shots look to be smooth and looks like the center post was absolutely a great call! I want one sitting next to my ACNC 100%! Thanks for sharing, and I love it🤯🤯
Man, this game looks awesome! Well done Spooky! Thrilled you sold through all the pre orders (again!) . can't wait to play the ED. Stoked on the whats next as well. Keep up the excellent work!
The theme, artwork, and callouts in this pin are amazing! The topper is hands down my all time favorite, its unbelievable you get all that in one package. The pin is packed with action. Well done guys
Awesome !! Dream theme, great gameplay, great art all over, incredible topper, great call outs and sound package. This game is extremely well done. Congrats Spooky.
I spent a good portion of the video wanting to tell Ash to STFU, we're doing our best, so congrats on re-creating the character's smugness. :D Loved the "game within a game" when you drop down into basement! Also, dropping 3+ balls on the player at once at various times was a fantastic way to mimic the more frantic moments in the movie--great design choice!
Absolutely awesome! Thank you all for your dedication to the craft and really pouring every ounce of creativity and innovation into your games. See you at Pinball at the Beach in Feb!
This looks like it plays pretty good with good flow. I can't wait to get mine from Sp00ky with the Topper. At first glance the artwork from Christopher Franchi is perhaps his best ever right up there with Munsters. Looks like you can hit other shots and ramps with that sling flipper and not just the hand area which is pretty cool. The Multiball with both upper and lower playfields going looks absolutely chaotic. That friggin Topper.....OMG. I just know at some point playing this game in the dead of night I'm going to be scared shitless! I love the videoclip for the Match at the end of the game clip is really cool! Can't Wait!
I really appreciate this game and the call outs by Bruce Campbell, the man, the myth, the chin, however he needs more Ash in his voice. There's a disconnect from his delivery here and the over-the-top machismo energy from the movies this art is based off of. His first-read delivery isn't elevating this game to the level it deserves. Is there any chance to get him back for an additional session? Thanks for the design, delivery, interviews, live-streams and video coverage during this release.
I agree.. the game design is out-freeking-standing but the voice performance is surprisingly underwhelming. It works in some places. One possible solution for the code updates is to replace as many of those with clips of Ash from the movies. Theres enough great software out there to help isolate quotes from background music and things to inject some more energy into the calls?
This is, by a MILE, the *best* horror-themed pin I’ve ever seen (I like it even better than EHOH)! 👀 🤘😮💨 Jesus, the ART & playfield ALONE!! 👏👏👏👏👏 If I had no wife & kids, I’d have THIS right next to the upcoming “Debbie Does Dallas” … 🤩
Because Spooky completely failed and clearly don’t appreciate he’s an actor who needs direction. They thought their job was done at simply paying him to read lines into a microphone. Exactly as Stern did with Richard Dreyfus’s on Jaws.
Game looks really good. Love the lighting effects. Rules look pretty good as of now. Shots look engaging and fun. I like how the shotgun ejects shells when hit. This game looks like a passion project. Without a doubt your best pin to date. I hope you sell a billion of these.
The game looks really good and this is a perfect theme, I love Evil Dead and Bruce Campbell. The callouts are lackluster however, please consider redoing them.
This is absolutely the most excited I have ever been about a pin . This is a dream theme for me . The game play , the call outs from Bruce , the artwork , the topper , the mechs . I don’t think I could be any happier. Now I just have to wait till mine is ready . Until then I’ll have something to dream about ! Well done Spooky ! Well Done !!!!🎉

it really is the opposite of what you said. Theme was not utilized to it's full potential. Bruce sounds like he's on the toilet and half asleep while reading out the call outs. Really bad.
Absolutely monstrous Evil Dead fan and have been calling on Spooky to do this title for years now. However I will unfortunately have to echo some comments here that I feel a better performance could have been coaxed out of Bruce. I've seen all his movies, read If Chins Could Kill, and met him in person and he's such a charismatic and energetic guy and it's just not coming through in a lot of these callouts. It sounds like he was recording it at 2am and didn't want to wake the neighbors next door. I understand he's older now so his voice isn't exactly the same, but I watched Ash vs. Evil Dead and he was still able to deliver an "over the top performance" when needed. Some of the callouts work just fine given what's happening in the game, but others really need more of a spark of energy. Not sure if he took a smaller paycheck because he was enthusiastic about the project and you just handed him a script and he did it "as a favor" but if you paid him fairly and well I think it wouldn't be out of the realm to ask him, or throw him a little extra money now that preorders are going well, and ask him to re-record a handful of lines. If you're embarrassed just say you're getting overwhelming feedback from the community that it's great but that some select callouts (choose your callouts) could use some additional excitement (aka blame them, not me!). If that's not an option I saw another say to potentially go in and pull more clips from the movies themselves. One miss I felt was it kept showing the chainsaw cutting off his hand scene of "WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?!?!" with the iconic chainsaw sound effect ripping behind him and Bruce's read of it was so ho-hum that I just kept wanting the clip of that from the movie instead. Again, huge fan, and will probably end up owning this machine at some point, but really just wish more from the callouts, especially since we'll be hearing them over and over and over and over. Game looks super fun though, art is fantastic, and really just the entire package looks amazing other than that.
Well said, I feel similarly. There's a lack of energy / excitement in some of the callouts. On the flipside, I think Spooky should be applauded for their hard work and the game looks amazing. A true labour of love and I wouldn't want anyone else doing this beloved theme. I hope the critical feedback isn't taken to heart too much.
@@JamesGadbury I debated even giving the feedback at all because I love everything else so much but then i figured it's the one thing that they might actually be able to change with a code update so perhaps if they knew people felt strongly enough and cared to reach back out to bruce or pull movie clips they could "fix" it still.
Spooky geeked out and completely forgot it’s ‘their job’ to get an exciting pinball performance out of, Bruce. Spooky dropped the ball on what is good for a game and weren’t professional enough to see it through.
Great flow. If a shot leads to a cluster of pop bumpers and that's the only way to pops, would love to see some sort award based on number of pops like in nba fastbreak, but not like GoT or GB
I said it in the video with narration, but I'll say it here, too. You can't tell me there isn't an Easter egg if you put your high score name in as "Groovy." It's got 6 spaces for a reason.
With only 888 being produced, if the game is as good as it looks and in the hands of many fans, the second hand market might be limited. Supply and demand, and all that.
I don’t think there is one there to catch. If there is, bravo for making a smooth transition in the music as well and having all of the insert lights spliced correctly with the timing of their flashing. I’m wondering why you would even think such a thing. Is it the way the ball quickly settles onto the left flipper trap just as the hand is moving?
@@dugfreez The ball jump caught my eye, and the score doesn't update for the three stand-up hits before the trap. Its also why its the only game of pinball I've seen where they don't nudge. I'm more impressed with the splice then anything else. Nothing wrong with slicing if you are trying to show off really complete gameplay. He isn't Bowen.
The animations are really bad without creativity. They don't fit the idiosyncratic atmosphere of the Evil Dead cult films! The cgi created animation designs of the filmsetting scenes for the pinball should have been more oriented towards the strange and sometimes unconventional camera perspectives of the films. I hope that spoojy changes that later!

I love the Evil dead series but I have to be honest. This does absolutely nothing for me. Gameplay looks boring and Bruce sounds like he was half asleep when he recorded the call outs. They are uninspired. Those callouts were boring from the start and I can't imagine having to hear them over and over again. Brutal. Big swing and a miss.
Thanks Spooky 👻 team! Another great pinball machine. That topper is sick!
Now you've got me thinking about a Rocky Horror Picture Show themed pinball machine!
This is insanely awesome!!! One of my favorite films!! What a great job! I'm in the UK so this is going to hit me hard in the pocket but I love it!
Wow!! Really looks great, that sling flipper is multi-functional, shots look to be smooth and looks like the center post was absolutely a great call! I want one sitting next to my ACNC 100%! Thanks for sharing, and I love it🤯🤯
Well done Bug, and congrats on such a great looking pin!

Looks incredible! Love that you included a trust post! And the initials entering screen is so well done!
This is my first CE pinball and it feels like everything I’ve ever wanted out of a game. Well done gang. I cannot wait to play this.
The theme, artwork, and callouts in this pin are amazing! The topper is hands down my all time favorite, its unbelievable you get all that in one package. The pin is packed with action. Well done guys
Multiball AND in the cellar? Awww yeah!
Hit it out of the park on this one guys . Looks incredible . Looks like a 90s pin and that lighting is amazing during the modes
Wow great looking machine! i love that little right side small flipper, interesting idea

Really, you guys have unreal expectations! This is amazing. Some people are never happy.
One can have higher expectations when it deals with a $10000+ piece of equipment. We're not nitpicking about a $70 videogame here. Come on... :=)
His delivery is so bored and disinterested.
@@jojocrawdaddyyou’re a sap.
Congrats to the entire spooky team. This game is awesome. Cant wait to play it and hopefully own it one day
Thanks Bug, Happy Thanksgiving to the Spooky Team 👻

Great job spooky pinball!! 💪
This looks fkn rad ! Big ups to you all 👍👍.
And you’re finally doing more than three letters at high score entry!
RIP the Bugstache
Why does Bruce Cambpell's callouts sound like he is half asleep while reading them?

Yea! looks like a good shooter! hopefully more tuned/reliable than texas chainsaw. can't wait!
Looks awesome 😎 my favorite by spooky is Scooby-Doo I'm loving the interactive topper! This looks amazing tho!
Can't wait to see one in person. Like others, this is a dream theme for a lot of horror fans.

Multi KNOCKER ❤❤❤❤❤
I like seeing the cheater post back in action! If only I had the money….
Oh we're so groovy, baby!
I tell ya if I was a rich man I would Buy atleast 4 of these. One to Play, 1 to Display, 1 To keep MIB and another for Spare Parts. I kid u Not.

very cool but hate the ai art they use, very lazy
Oh man……No overhead camera? Come on now! This is a cardinal sin, especially after the TCM/LT stream overhead cam.
