VW TRANSPORTER T5.1 CAMPER VAN CONVERSION SELF BUILD.

Here is our VW Transporter camper van. Me and my wife did everything on this ourselves apart from the pop top which we let the professionals @dub+ in Lincoln do. They fitted a skyline roof and the service was perfect. In total this took us about 2.5 months to complete and we enjoyed every minute of the process. We still have some bits we want to change but here is where we are at up to now and we are just enjoying our trips meeting new people. @@steveprice1014 hi mate dub+ in Lincoln did it. They are amazing. I opted for a bifold bed, scenic canvas and a memory foam mattress and it cost £3845. The skyline canvas is very thick I would do the same again if I build another I know there might be cheaper ones available but the quality is amazing and you get a 5 year warranty

Those seat covers look amazing. And can you tell me which R#7#r bed you went for please? I like the size of the rearmost seat section on yours. Gives good bedding storage possibilities. Some have tiny or nonexistent space at the back. Thanks.

Thank you. Yes I love the seats the front covers were from a company called leather inn that we’re trading on eBay. The rock and roll bed was from a company called captain seat in Leicestershire. They are amazing at upholstery. Yes I love the fact you can just lift the skirts up and have tons of storage. I wasn’t keen on that look at first but it works really well 👍🏻
