Love the video I love your cup holders but can’t seem to find them on amazon do you have a link for them or a item number as I would love to get some many thanks
That's a smart job. How are the kitchen units fixed in place? Are they screwed into the floor or bolted down? I've done a bigger van but it's a nuisance as a daily driver. Might try my hand at converting a Transporter.
Thankyou and the kitchen units are screwed down to the floor with brackets and then fixed into the side of the van. There great to convert although we are looking at converting a bigger van
@Priorsontour thanks for that. Bigger vans are great, I spend most weekends away in it, but they are a pain in UK carparks, spaces are so small, and a lot are height restricted. Good news though, they tend to be cheaper than Transporters or Transit Customs.
Hi the best ones we've found for the transporter are the ones that stick on the outside, try this link www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165567209667?itmmeta=01J4YJKDBR9ENY8XJM5BC173FD&hash=item268c9320c3:g:hOwAAOSwS9dgu312&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8Jew95U27NLwvlwuaOthADA19Ben73sPTkNuLgdclzo3pC0W6HK3FUJtXWFXKk0hYBzSxcA0hbHStE1LbSazkkySahulopqQ%2FI%2BYSZ%2B5m7H2MVxBfww%2Bk8MmVdo2XEnz%2BVSUdfHgkvvN%2BEvWLa8wzysQodToKv6Up8deKkFTtW12zrgehsQ65XjyAPv6DrYsyzAI04QsFLgBYs%2BMR7CmGUERhRCHkgnGp%2FLjfIRBYtNJIWGINsCkYMZLsAOrm4h%2Fuw5VdV8Lw8I%2BHneDcEr8etb16sCo1jdoGmk7dehGzbJgAcWXy%2Br9Exwrr%2BXIHgxlYw%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR_zVzdKnZA
I read the DVLA will no longer change the V5 to campervan if it has a pop-top. But they will change the V5 for a van with windows, and that should then put your class with cars regarding speed limits. If anyone knows different, please comment.
you don't need to get it changed to be able to do car speed limits. There are DVLA letters out there confirming this. You may get a ticket as the ANPR cameras will not know the difference. But can be successfully contested.
First class ,,, just need a shower,,, Living in California Love the kitchen. Too cold for me in greater manchester rains a lot ... yet Europe is a good idea,,,
We initially saw the designs we liked off ebay and contacted 'Discover campervan conversions' who we then discussed what we wanted they were very helpful

I always feel a SWB Transporter is a bit tight for more than 1 person. Great conversion. Great work you did!
Thankyou and completely agree can be very tight at times although will be doing a new build very soon on a bigger van
@@Priorsontour I am just finishing a LWB Transporter conversion
Where did you get your pop top fitted, I’ve been getting quotes for upwards of £4500
Hi pop top was done at C&H in Huddersfield
That's a smart job.

Hello, great video. Did you have the name of the diesel heater you bought off eBay?
Just checked but its no longer on eBay but is was one from China sorry if that doesn't help.
Great conversion. Some good ideas. You can change the top grill tho on a T6. That one dose clip in and out 👍🏻👍🏻.
Thankyou for the nice comment and thankyou for the advice just on the lookout for the next conversion
Hi what are the window mouldings you got in your van ? do you have the eBay listing?

Yes they did change it so pop tops no longer count as a camper they need to be a solid high top with windows and decals to class as a camper.

Hi, Could you tell me the cost of getting the pop-up done, please.
Hi, the cost for just the pop top was £2000
Hello, how did you spary the van. Cans or professional set up? 😊
Hi the van was sprayed with a spray gun but you can do this with a small compressor at home.
@@Priorsontour thank you
Nice van have you got a link to the side steps thanks
Thankyou here is the link - www.veedubtransporters.co.uk/shop/t6t6-1-black-aluminium-vector-side-steps-swb/
Hi great video where did you buy your kitchen
We initially saw the designs we liked off ebay and contacted 'Discover campervan conversions' who we then discussed what we wanted they were very helpful
Did the cost include paint and wheels ? Pop roof costs about £3000 ?
Hi yes it included everything I shopped hard for the best deals
@@Priorsontour Nice one
@@RB-lt8kt brilliant van for that budget! 😮
Great video and congratulations. Looks ace! How many hours would you estimate that it took you to do the conversion?
Thankyou I would estimate about 100 hours for the conversation although I didn't do the roof 😀
Looks fabulous. You've gone a really nice job.
Thankyou so much
