They should rename the game to *"Titanic : Dead inside"*
It's really impressive that they actually managed to release a demo that makes you not want to play the final game. I'll be as polite as possible, but it makes me feel like the developer has a very "chaotic" brain lol, with lots of weird elements and odd choices. For example, it's strange how the interior models have flat shading and no shadows, that's something most developers would completely avoid doing since everything looks blocky and unrealistic, and the lack of anti-aliasing accentuates those problems - hence why it looks odd 7:20 . The menus are also so bizarre and unorganized. Anyway, thanks for covering this Spammals :) It's always great to see you and Titanic together again.
I would definetly play the game when it comes out in like 20-50 years

The dev had family problems as far as i heard,and a total loss of progress of the game,but yeah.
@@aleksavuksanovic3899 Not a very good reason to release a demo that destroys the public's perception of your product. He could have just waited until he'd fixed these massive issues and gotten people's opinions before he released it. If he's having family problems, creating more problems by ruining your project's public image isn't the next logical step.

I went to the Maritime Museum in Halifax and they had this deck chair, just seeing the promenade deck reminded me of it for some reason.

Yknow a game is bad when spammals isn't his normal energetic self
Somewhat Impressive, especially as a personal project. But to stand out you need a model where you can explore a large percentage of the ship at a reasonable quality. Or have gameplay and game mechanics. Or you could explore other ships like Titanic's Sister ships or other famous(ish) liners from the time.
Not to bad for a DEMO I've seen demos later become good game it depends on the devs though games ain't easy to make to begin with

I can definitely see why Honor and Glory splintered off this project now.
Titanic Lost in the Darkness was may more developed than this, they basically scrapped everything and started off fresh with Titanic Dead Ahead. Also the reason why the 2 main men left Titanic Lost in the Darkness to team up with Tom and work on Honor and Glory was because communication broke down and there were some problems and miss communication or I've heard something like that.

Man, I remember watching the old titanic videos in middle school, now i work a 9 to 5. I do think game devs should move on from the titanic as Honor & Glory kind of doing it all.

As it turns out, the Titanic had enough watertight bulkheads...it was the human-permeable decks that were the real issue, however.
They modeled the engine room access on Scotland Road, blocked it off and then have you look at the engine room through a catwalk on F deck that didn't exist. Like...just why?

Model of Titanic is nice but incomplete and kinda flat.. there was no life inside. even in Honor and Glory there is a play of light and shadows and ambience sound to make that atmosphere. I have also my attempt of Titanic walk sim game made in blender but I didnt released it because i dont think its good enough to others try.. I dont get why railing on forecastle missing, lot of textures missing that caused purple textures. Did they not check their released build?
I honestly don't think I'd really give this game the time of day.

I agree this demo wasn't the greatest out there and it seems rushed. I understand it's just a demo but it could've been polished better before releasing it. Also a suggestion would be to play Bomber Crew American DLC. I know you played the original Bomber Crew game back in 2018 and would love to see a series with the DLC if you're interested in doing so.
