Hi everyone welcome back to my channel. Today, Ill be giving you a quick update on the Chanel price increase.
So the rumors are indeed true. Chanel price increased did happen today here in the US. let me share with you what bags are affected. Before I get to the bags let me tell you the panic I saw with last minute buying for those bags that they want. My SA was so amazing to share some of her remaining pieces to purchase before the increase. Many did buy before the increase including myself and Ill reveal that in my next video. It something Ive been wanting and putting it off but decided Ill buy it now just in case there is another increase. Please stay tuned for that.
Okay so lets start with what went up and what didnt, if there is anything that didnt.

Large- $7400-$8500

I know, to each their own, but it is impossible to justify those prices… it was before, but now even more. It’s crazy!
Yes I refuse to pay that much for the classics now. Thats just crazy 🙁
Honestly the best thing is to hold on to the Classic flaps we have. I have just 1 which I bought as a vintage bag in April which you saw and commented on. I am so glad I got it as it was for a good price £2400 and it has the 24 carat gold plating. Thanks for sharing. I don't think I will be buying new Chanel bags from the boutique anytime soon:)
I wish we had salary increase as much as the price increase especially here in Cali uufff cost of living is so expensive & high tax rate 😱. Fyi, pre-love market prices has increased as well, almost same price as new.
I know right!! Thats so true! I know preloved market can be as crazy as retail, however, if you’re just a lil patient, sometimes youll score a bag at a good price. FB Chanel groups are amazing 😻

Coco handle bag is popular! I just saw a beautiful one yesterday and it was beautiful. Wow! The classic went up a lot. The boy bag is crazy as well! It’s getting the the price where I feel like it’s not worth it for me. Im more if a LV lover!
Ok I was in Wow hearing the rumors but seeing it actually happening I no longer won’t any classics. My wishlist is now a Kelly 25😊 I’m on the hunt lol

Great info!! Due to price increase, I won’t be selling my Chanel bags. Now, I’m regretting that I sold few this year 🤦♀️. I was hoping to replace it with new ones but it’s very difficult to get the bags I want due to very low inventory in the store near me. 😅

Antonette after watching your video, i feel so painful...Am still waiting for my Small flap either the top handle which is a bit cheaper than the small classic flap but there is no stock at all here even for the classic flap. Real pain...i wish i had started my love for Chanel earlier but having said that, need to take care of my other priorities first in life i.e house and car. Don't regret in that sense but perhaps one don't win all. Pre loved for classic is good but is not easy to find those in pristine condition and at good price frankly. Those in pristine condition will be near to market price or even more fyi. Also again pre loved with one paying so much, authenticity is also very challenging unless one just stick to fashionphile but again one will need to get that authenticated again. I would rather safe a bit more (ok not a bit here) but to bite the bullet for it. Arggg..... Thanks for sharing.

The coco handbag when up where I live :(
I’m sure coco handles will not be spared & price will go up when 21K comes out in the fall. There is no July price increase on coco handles because there are no coco handles in 21B collection. They are seasonal bags & skip a collection since their debut in 2015.
Yes there will be an increase in the fall and true no coco handle for the 21B plus they just went up. This will sneak up on us 😬

Yes!! Coco handle will increase in a few weeks or 2 months. It wont stay a good price for sure 😌
