- Chanel price increase is coming soon and here are the bags rumored to go up
So its circulating all over the social media from personal shoppers, resellers as well as some sales advisors that Chanel price increase is happening in July. Yes its just a few days away and some said its July 1.
Chanel typically have biannual price increase. Their last across the board increase happened in January and the coco handle just went up recently for their mini and small by $300.
This is hot of the press and Chanel will have an increase confirmed by their SA.
📎According to the source, prices are going up for reissue, boy bag, chanel 19 and classics. How much higher is still a question right now but Ill update you as soon as I get more information. Some said the classic flaps will go up as $1000 more and if that true, Im just speechless now.

Wow...I’m just glad that I was able to score a classic flap before the increase. I agree with you 100% if there is something you want just get it vs having to dish out more money. Also the preloved market is insane as well!!! People are better off buying their bags now before the increase because it’s only going to get worse

@@AlwaysAntonette It is not always the case in many countries that you can't even get what you want now...Here still lock down and despite of that, prior to the lockdown, they don't have many stocks as well. Is not as easy as you want it, just get it so to speak. Thanks for sharing. Hate that news and am waiting for my classic even the small they don't have stock. That is even more frustrating.

Problem is, there really aren't many bags in stock at the boutiques due to supply issues/demand, so good luck trying to beat the price increase. I suspect most are like me - disgusted about the frequent increases and ridiculous prices, but still going back for more...

Last Jan, the classic small had the most increase of $400 which was about 7% and not at least 10%. This time, if it’s 10%, it will be much more like you said so at least $620 for the small and $740 for the jumbo. :( If jumbo goes up 12.5%, it will be up b $925 which is insane!
Hermes doesn’t have variety handbags like Chanel. Wish Hermes can come more handbags. Too many people buy Chanel bags, this make Chanel keep increasing the price. Just ridiculous 💕

This doesn’t come as a surprise to me. Chanel is always going to have a price increase. I understand their marketing strategy. They want to be elite. They want to price people out. I own 4 of their classic bags. I only desire to own 2 of their mini flaps and then I will be content. Good luck ladies! Their prices are definitely getting crazy. I bought my Jumbo which is a single flap for around $3,000 I believe in 2008 or 2009. I own a W.O.C also purchased in 2013 for $1775.

Is the reissue mini (currently $ 4000) and classic mini price gonna go up? I was able to purchase the reissue mini from 21A but thinking to return it because it’s a big too small for my frame. If price is going to go up on this piece I need to rethink….
Yes apparently this will go up by $400 more I just gathered. So better to keep or replace soon for something you like

One day the classics will surpass price of the Birkin and Kelly at the rate of price increase! It’s 2021 today, so likely in 5-6 years from now. Question is will they make them limited and offered only to clients like Hermes?
