He was knowledgeable, well spoken, and respectful. He gave history, showed pride for his city and hood. He wasn't extra. I think this is my favorite thus far.
Good story teller 👌🏾
Yeah man. Us old heads got the experience and knowledge to tell some good stories. Much love from DC!
He's an idiot. Poorly spoken and talks in circles. I still don't know what he sayin

Beautiful huh❤
Almost felt his tears! He was blessed with a grandmother and great grandmother, what a blessing!
Loved this dude energy and mindset. He’s a grown man, talking grown talk. And very respectful.
Yes ❤❤❤
If possible, do some more with him. This is by far the best episode I've seen so far and there was not even a dull or boring moment. This guy is a character but in the most positive and respectful way.
I respect him, he said real ish!
I can relate only because I grow up in Los Angeles. On every block he talked about.
He's not lying bout them elders having your back, literally!!
Thank you for spreading positivity in the hood. We all we got!

When I hear someone from 40s speak, it always sound like they got a head on their shoulders. Real smart cats who don’t spread diversion. From daygo to LA💯

I love how he points out the good things in his community & even gives props to Mexicans in his showcase of the neighborhoods 🙏🏽 This is a REAL man who loves his surroundings and wants greatness for everyone around him.
This has to be your best interview ever. He breaks everything down. Appreciate this guy.
I like the videos when members give the backstory and real details about the culture. NO GUN FLASHING, NO TOUGH STUFF. Just history and he look like he really enjoyed reminiscing about his childhood.
This dude a real one .. showing positivity in LA
This dude did a similar hood vlog years ago, I remember him. It was before Nip got assassinated. He hasn't changed much still well spoken, holding down the set.
Legend has it he’s gonna be 80 years old still throwing gang signs.*
Yep he was on street tv years ago now.
When you say assassinated what do you mean?

Lot of nostalgia when he went thru the Aves. 2nd Ave between Vernon and 43rd is home.
Your channel has come a long way my guy 💪🏼
Keep up the great content.
He just explained my whole childhood. I grew up on Browning (off King and Normandie). I lived at the Swimming Stadium in the Summer. I used to let people park on my lawn for Raiders games to make extra money as a kid. I went to Audubon in the late 80s. This was so nostalgic. I had to have crossed paths with this man. Proud of the brotha. He really is a hood historian. He seems to be pushing positivity. #Respect
Yo I’m New York City all day. But that’s how you really rep ya hood. That made me feel like I was there with my G. Excellent!!!
Definitely was a good one keep making moves homey and keeping and positive outlook peace from Brooklyn was a good one on la Crenshaw really shedded light💯🦾

This is going to be one of my favorites 💪🏾, i remember homie from the street tv videos solid homie🔥.
I’m from jersey. The brotha made the 40s look good 💯💪🏾
Really heartbreaking hearing about the Mall. However they can try to erase it but the culture is forever solidified. Real Black LA 🤞🏾🤎
That's you in your profile picture
You online dudes are weirdos to say the very least
By 2040 LA black population will be 1%
The best gang video I’ve seen, Much love and respect to the OG.
The Sale of Crenshaw Mall and Leimert Park is horrible. The state needs to step into that and not allow a historical landmark of the black community of Los Angeles to be purchased in order to push the current black community out. Look into the people who sold the mall and who purchased the mall and you will see the back door money pushing going on and city council and government allowed it
nipsey didn’t own any of it😂😂 that was a MYTH
@@NorthKoreanSimpwho mentioned the homie nip S.I.P the original commenter said nothing about cuhk ya should like a straight up citch
California is pushing you niggas out mane let that shii go 😂. California didn’t have a sizable black population until the 1950s. And now y’all are only 8 percent of California. Move from that goofy ass state you can’t own shit out there.
Yes, the state should just give them a trillion more dollars. It would surely be money well spent.
Unfortunately it may have already hit the point of no return. I'm born and raised in LA, but haven't lived there since 2013 due to outlandishly stupid increase in the cost of living. My brother is still there and lives right on Leimert Blvd, but says it's gotten worse since when I left. Moved to Montgomery Al and the cost of living was waaayyy different, much cheaper.
Great interview and tour. I been messing with Bro since I saw him on StreetTV years ago. Always engaging and insightful 🤝🏾
def my fav one so far ,someone that knows their hood & could project that knowledge in the right way .
Great vlog, interesting to have a tour through the neighborhood with the history
Wow, finally 43rd and Hoover, where I walked the Line at Menlo to the Baby Hoover Groovers before there was a Crip, learned how to swim at Expedition, Parked Cars in people's yards, and made plenty of money during sports events at the Coliseum, Biggest Names on that block was Gregory Grant or Gant, The Browns, The Kilgores, the Jacksons,
It’s crazy all the n-hood sets are near hoover sets except the 60’s.

Real Dope interview and alot of hood history. For anyone watching from outside LA dont think any of these areas soft or sweet because every part of the city shown was the trenches whether it look like it or not.

“ you gotta respect your elders “. Real talk. 💯 Some of this new generation is missing that.
I'm 35 years old, black, and I was raised in a lower-middle class neighborhood with both parents in my life. I didn't grow up in the hood but I LOVE going to the hood. Folks that grew up on the block with history got some of the best stories, the best street knowledge, and the positive energy high (no pun). Don't get me wrong, I still pack the toolie going to the hood because you really do gotta be prepared and alert. Nonetheless, it's fun. The best food.
