The thing about Shane is he cared more about Lori and Carl than anyone else maybe Andrea a little more than the rest, whereas Rick cared more about the group as a whole not to say he didn't care about his family because obviously he did and even began to see certain members of the group as his family.
Naw Rick put this group together, taught them how to shoot, and did things that kept everyone safe while Rick was catching walkers on sticks with Herschel, and agreeing to not carry during an apocalypse. Was gonna let Randall go after he tried to kill them. Shane opened the barn and told everyone they had to fight to survive. He’s literally the walking dead

That’s not leading. There was also an episode where Amy asks him if they can go and save Andrea and he says no simply b/c it’s not his problem. Point being, he wasn’t a good leader. He only cared abt Lori nd Carl. Didn’t care much abt the rest of the group

the only seasons i'm coming back to is 1 and 2, because of Shane Walsh, he's my favorite character. Jon Bernthal did a fantastic job.
