They are the best band in history.. I saw them twice in my life and i met them personally.. And they are the most amazing humans I've ever met.. Not only are they legendary but they are sooo humble and kind..
@@itsalwayssomething7490 they are they are the best indeed and i hope to see more and more of them in the future, its one of those bands that it's impossible to get bored of them .. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
That's good to hear I believe it. Met KMK before a concert and D LOC is a great guy too. Violent J is a cool dude too from ICP he just wants to be treated like he's not famous and almost cried when we were chanting his real name.
That's why Rust in Peace is such a hyped album, banger after banger bro, you're feeling it. Respect that you begin each day anew striving to be your best self, that's a great example to set man. The world needs to bring that back ✌🤟🤘
When MegaDeth released their 1991 album 'Rust In Peace' my metalhead friends and I hauled ass to the nearest mall (120+ miles round trip...it was the closest place to buy metal music lol) to obtain it. We were not disappointed, to say the least, as it is an absolute banger from start to finish...with the slow somber track 'Dawn Patrol' thrown in as the calm before the final storm 'Rust In Peace...Polaris'. We jammed it the entire way home, Mustaine & Co. blastin' through the speakers like an oncoming freight train. I've loved it from that very first listen. I was lucky enough to experience them live shortly after on the legendary Clash Of The Titans tour (along with Alice In Chains, Anthrax, and Slayer). It was a mindblowing event, each band tearin' the place down. I'll never forget my friend, Mike, in the pit whilst on crutches and with his broken foot in a cast. Those were great times, indeed. Tickets for this epic evening of metal mayhem cost a whopping $19 each 🤘
I was introduced to this album totally by accident. When I was 16, 17 I was really into AC DC. One day, I purchased the FLICK OF THE SWITCH cassette tape and brought it home. When I put it in the cassette player, Holy Wars... The Punishment Due started to play. I didn't even know it was MEGADETH at the time. I knew I was hooked, I never heard anything like it at the time. I went for a few months not even knowing what band it was. I didn't even know the names of the songs. I'm happy to have found this album. Peace from Miramichi.
It’s amazing that Marty Friedman and Dave Mustain were able to exist so well together. They’re so different. You can tell a Marty solo from a Mustain solo a mile away. I remember the day this album came out. So awesome!
Megadeth and Metallica are both good in their own ways. Metallica has sold more albums, but that is mainly because of their first three. They really only put out one more good album after 1986 and have been living off of that ever since. Megadeth, however, has had a much better career. Whereas Metallica started fast, Megadeth just started hitting their stride in 1990. But they are still producing quality stuff. They won a Grammy in 2016 for best metal album and, while Metallica was rereleasing much of their catalogue, recently, Megadeth is just about to release a new cd. Like I said, they are both good, but Megadeth is better now and have been more balanced.
I was a die hard Metalica fan and Megadeth hater in my teens. Accidentally I finally heard my first Megadeth song and it was this song 5 magics at the house of a friend who was a Megadeth fan and former Metallica fan as well. Then after 5 Magics finished a song called The Conjuring played and I was mind blown. I only hated Megadeth because of Dave Mustaine who is was told was an asshole snd had knocked out James Hetfield in a drunken rage. Well come to find out James had kicked Dave’s dog which led to the argument and eventual punch. Never ever kick or harm a mans dog, never! Anyway I fucken love Megadeth and Metalica from the And Justice for All album to the older Kill Em All. I can’t stand that enter sandman commercialized bullshit. Metalica are a great unit but Megadeth sounds like they have hall of fame skilled musicians playing and the way they switch up tempos and song structures is amazing. Much like TOOL, there isn’t anybody out there that sounds like Megadeth, well early Metalica does but that’s because a lot of their early songs used riffs that Dave had made while with the band
8:20 but in a small thought, how much better would Metallica have been if Mustaine stayed 😲 HOWEVER...I totally agree that his booting out was a blessing to create the Mighty Megadeth that's been more or less booting Metallica's ass in the longer run. AND yes RIP (for Thrash) & Countdown (for Metal) are Classic Masterpieces, they have continued following up with some pretty close really good albums as well "Endgame" "Dystopia" (all) and most of "13" "UA" "World needs a hero" but that's just me, this is not a Sin! 😇 🤟
Seen them quite few times. July 86 feb 88. Man Dave was crazy back in the day lol. Great song and reaction. U love the guitar you should check the song she wolf do the live version from rude awakening
U could react to some songs from their last album!! They won a Grammy bcuz of it 4 years ago... Here are some suggestions: 1.Poisonous Shadows 2.Dystopia 3.Fatal Illusion
First four off the, Peace Sells....But Who’s Buying? album.Wake Up Dead, Devils Island, Peace Sells, The Conjuring. So Far So Good....So What? Hook in Mouth. Welcome to the world of thrash, my friend. They are the Godfather’s.
Dude you're great!! love thrashin big time old school epic big time all time!! New Major Fan, God bless. Keep it Metal! P. S. Check out Lucretia on the Rust in Peace album. Seriously Five Magics and Lucretia are my two favorite
Kerry King from Slater said that Dave's music took forever to compose. Now I understand building the intensity. Slayer does, too. But Megadeth is king.
For lyrics that would resonate with you check out Megadeth - Washington Is Next For a live performance that will blow you away check out Megadeth - She Wolf (live rude awakenings)
You should check out hangar 18 from the the same album or some Of the tracks from the peace sells album, which I think is every bit as good as the Rust in Peace album
With your Christian focus, you may find the United Abominations cd by Megadeth interesting. The title track is a take on the end times belief that the UN will play a big part in bringing about the rise of the Antichrist. Also on the same cd is a remake of the Megadeth song A tout le monde, which covers how the way you live your life would change if you realized you were about to die. The version on this cd is superior to the original as it adds Lacuna Coil vocalist Criss stuns Scabbia as a guest singer on the track.
There was a time after Dave became Born Again where he would not play this one and "Devil's Island" live. I think he plays them now which is great because they're fan favorites!
im not religious, but i found ur take on the last line very interesting. I also like how throughout the last few lines, you hear that satanic voice in the back repeating the lines, until dave sings "will surely live a lie" to which the satanic voice is silenced.
Brother that was perfectly stated about the comparison of MEGADETH & Metallica. I am grateful they booted Dave as well cuz no one does it like MEGADETH & most don’t understand how good these guys are. RUST in Peace is the best metal album ever created. I hope you react to them all. Peace bother🤘🏼🍺
This was a fun reaction. I am a hardcore Metallica fan but Megadeth certainly earned their metal chops for Rust in Peace. I loved this song since the first time I heard it.
You should check out one of crossfades less popular songs "No Giving Up" its a curveball in the depressed era mix. One of my favorites from the band, God bless.

Sweating Bullets is amazing, megadeth definitely taps the primal carnage in the human mind
HANGAR 18, GIBBS!!! ESSENTIAL🔥
Lucretia by Megadeth is a banger too, matter of fact the whole album is a masterpiece.
imo the best solo on the whole album
Tornado of Souls is hands down the best solo on the album but Lucretia is my favorite song overall off Rust
@@222MovieMan That Tornado solo is insane the bends the phrasing is just godlike.
Right On brother, Amen
it's as good as tornado!@@222MovieMan
You gotta check out Washington is Next by Megadeth! You'll probably love it and understand what Dave is saying in that one for real
I master 5 magics! Hell yeah! Dave at his most witchy. The Conjuring is awesome too.

They are the best band, at least to me. Seen them 22 times since 88, including the Big 4 show in NY. Glad to see others have the same passion.

Yo solo los ví una vez cuando vinieron a México en el 98 =)
Some would disagree as best band of all time but best thrash metal band of all time, no question.

Try out .. Washington is next - Megadeth!!
Probably their most underrated song tbh
Seriously haha also the dread n fugitive mind… i feel is also underrated honestly
Sleepwalker too
Hanger 18 is a awesome track on this album in fact Rust in peace is one of the greatest albums of all time period bruv
Totally agree, it is actually the best ever..

I love some old Megadeth🤘🤘 but he should react to the song called Good Morning / Black Friday. It’s one of my FAVORITE songs from this band.
Yes , a religion in itself. Lucretia next. These boys dont mess around when it comes to guitar excellence.
Very awesome. I love this album and your words after the video need to be heard by everybody. Turn away fron sin . GOD BLESS YOU BRO
This is one of my favorites off the album to and your right this is definitely different from Metallica , Metallica can’t come close to this
