I love how in Oz you can be ballsy and somehow things magically work out. Like whod have thunk her song would work and repair the bridge? No wonder Dorothy was able to kill the Wicked Witch with water.
Actually they're both. In the wizard of oz book they're silver, but in the mgm movie they're red. It depends on the version you watch/read. But the shoes aren't even mentioned in this movie. I always wondered about that.
@Pishy4 Yup, I saw this years ago and to this day I can't figure it out if it's intentional or just a Lion thing... Either way- I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! I'm 16 now and I still feel the same way I did when I was 5 and watching this for the first time.
@Mike0908 The movie "Return to Oz" also used the Ruby Slippers, which was the only mistake they made in making that film. They really ought to have made a clean break from MGM.
@ObscuroSknim1234 Looks a fairly standard animated Lion to me. If you want to see a Cowardly Lion who fits your description, check out the current Marvel Comics adaptations of the Oz books. :-)
it's a prequel/midquel in one. tinman's still rusting away in the woods somewhere. scarecrow's still on a pole for most of the movie. dorothy finds them offscreen and frees them before running into lion at the end of the movie.
I KNEW THIS SONG EXISTED.
You don't understand. I've searched for years. They said it couldn't happen. They said I was crazy...
BUT I KNEW.
You did it you defied gravity 😊
I used to replay this song over and over. I loved it.
it's 2016 and it's 2 am here and I have been playing Believe over and over for about half an hour now.
I really love this movie, especially the song Believe. Ever since I first watched it on Disney, I have been singing the song.

Anyone else notice the lions eyes turn green whenever he does something that would other wise be considered brave?
Finally found this again. Thanks so much for uploading
This song is the best part of the movie!!! It's so cute.
@BabyTigerchen That's Jane Horrocks, a brilliant English actress. If you want to hear more of her singing, look for the movie "Little Voice."
I had a Lion King flashback when he jumped off the cliff...Mufasa *sniffle*

Got to love how the Munchkins talk to Wimzik about the Flower of Oz not realising they’re talking TO the Flower of Oz. Oh, the irony.
They're only red in the MGM movie and in all the inferior adaptations of "Wizard" which take their cues not from the book but the movie.
lyrics?
I think I saw this Movie on Cartoon Network many years ago. This Movie looks familiar.
That’s what the other viewer who put a comment on part two said And I couldn’t believe it was shown in My favorite channel back in the day
The movie is called: Lion of Oz
@Pishy4 Yup, I saw this years ago and to this day I can't figure it out if it's intentional or just a Lion thing... Either way- I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! I'm 16 now and I still feel the same way I did when I was 5 and watching this for the first time.

I used to watch this in Disney.
I mean, it was rather considerate of the witch to transform the village smaller for the villagers.
