Thank you THANK YOU. for uploading this! It's made my week, I remember it so fondly from my childhood and am doing something Oz related myself and I really wanted to see this again. Great upload!
You could tell near the end of the song even the Lion was bored to death of the Witch's singing. IDK whose idea it was to make the Lion somewhat snarky but it makes the movie more entertaining.
@zimstinka I'm a homeowner, laddie, and said home has all the amenities, including telecommunications devices. Always interesting to see this pattern: opponent tries to overcome, opponent cannot, so opponent moves on to unfounded personal attacks.
You should hear the French version of the Witch's song ("Ma Penchant Mechant")! Lynn Redgrave is delightful, but the French actress really rips it up!.
@zimstinka And now, ladies and gentlemen, we see the final phase, the final degradation, if you will, of the opponent having absolutely nothing coherent to add to what's left of the discussion, drifting off into pure gibberish.
A. They were silver. Read the original book. B. Baum never said the Wicked Witches were sisters; that's straight from the 1939 movie. C. Listen to the old gal's dialogue.
MaskedMan66 she probably got them the day before Dorothy's house film on her she probably went to a evil wizard near her castle or something and then I want to point out something actually Baum says the witch of the East lived in a hut near munchkin land not in a castle like the witch of the west
@zimstinka The wings issue was settled eight comments ago. Anyone who reads it can see that what I said clipped your argument's wings. And the witch in this movie IS the Witch of the East; proofread your comments before you post them. If the best you now have is unfounded insults (by the way, it's "douchebag," not "doucebag"), my best advice to you would be to throw in the towel.
Wait a minute I know why she doesn’t have the ruby slippers or silver shoes it’s because they were actually Ozmas from the start they were never the wicked witch of the East’s to begin with
@zimstinka Yup, you've officially abandoned the discussion, recognizing that you have no ammunition, and you've fallen back on trivialities. As to your question, people who don't want to look uneducated care about spelling things properly, not to mention correct punctuation.
LOL Lion when she begins to sing... everyone else is like, "O.o OMG RUN!" And he's just all, -eye roll- Ugh I hope she isn't... she IS... greeeeaat.

"Would it excite you if I ignite you?"
I'm sure some people would find that exciting, but other people would find those people to be odd.
shows up
breaks into song
kidnaps toy
doesn't elaborate
leaves
fine for me too, i love this film ^_^
Nice song! I'll turn you into stone, and leave you on your own.
@zimstinka Noticed that, thanks, which is why I brought up the inconsistency with Baum's Oz; one of more than a few in this story.

TEH WICKED WITCH OF TEH ACED

@AngelMusic14344 And, frankly, having a ball! Sorry if you couldn't enjoy it.

this movie almost sounds more like adult humor in such ways if you know what i mean
That evil wicked witch of the west
A. They were silver. Read the original book.
B. Baum never said the Wicked Witches were sisters; that's straight from the 1939 movie.
C. Listen to the old gal's dialogue.
To IQute, just out of curosity, where did you get your icon of the young man with ginger hair and glasses from?
@GRRLAGproductions The lad himself!
@MaskedMan66
In the Lion of Oz she did.
Silver. Presumably she hadn't acquired them yet.
MaskedMan66 yeah I was wondering why she's not wearing them
MaskedMan66 she probably got them the day before Dorothy's house film on her she probably went to a evil wizard near her castle or something and then I want to point out something actually Baum says the witch of the East lived in a hut near munchkin land not in a castle like the witch of the west
Dunno. Works fine for me.
When did Baum ever say that the wicked witch of the East had the flying monkeys
@AngelMusic14344 I wasn't fighting, I was just sitting here calmly, telling nothing but the truth.

@nicholasbarwick Ya, I found that rather odd too. Maybe it was something the animators forgot to put in
@zimstinka Sad, really...
I know, right? She just sang a song about it xD
Maybe she didn't have them yet.
Wait a minute I know why she doesn’t have the ruby slippers or silver shoes it’s because they were actually Ozmas from the start they were never the wicked witch of the East’s to begin with

i think elphaba is worser than nessa cos elphaba thought nessa tricks in wicked
@ViralDetoxRevolution It's actually silver shoes
"Wicked" and those silly names have no connection either to this or to the Oz books.

Actually, L. Frank Baum never said they were sisters.
O Tim curry and your antics
The broom walks... so?
